Harhar. Sewing class ended today! Yeah, it sounds like major suck, what with the having to go even after school's over, but BEHOLD! I show you the fruits of my labor! Below the cut ye will find 1 Gurren-dan approved purse, guaranteed to be the most GAR in all the land.

( This purse makes me want to pierce the heavens! )

8D Haa~ Thanks! Now that I'm done with this, I'm thinking of just GARifying every blank piece of cloth I own. (Even though the design was a pain to trace)

Ooooh, so nice. I was planning to make a purse with the Gurren Dan symbol too.
And for your first sewing project it's really made of EPICEPICWIN!

Out of curiosity, how did you get the logo on the bag? Is it simply fabric paint?

Anyway, I used this funky adhesive paper that comes for fabrics. You iron the fabric you want for the design onto it. Next you cut out your spiffy design, peel the paper and iron the design onto the desired fabric. It's called "HeatnBond, Iron-on Adhesive"

My camera probably did the jean too much justice. Either way, I don't really recommend any of those for sewing. They're so thick. x.x

It's a real pain, sewing. Takes a ton of patience. I spent like the last 2 hours on the handles alone. Soo frustrating.
