The "Day of Reckoning"

Oct 04, 2005 14:57

Yes, according to mother dearest, today is the day of reckoning.

I got my 7th tooth pulled out today.

Now, don't get me wrong, I actually don't really mind getting my teeth pulled out. You just sort of sit there. You don't have to exert much energy, and you get to eat ice cream for the next few days. A life of luxury, one might think.

However this is not the case. You see, for the next few weeks it will mean that countless people, a large percentage of them being family members (who, I have noticed, seem to really take an interest in inflicting pain on other members of the family) will come up to me, say hello, and start what may seem to the untrained, ignorant soul to be an innocent conversation. But no. After the first "Hello" and "How are you?" I will find myself on the receiving end of a series of gestures aimed at getting me to open my mouth. Eugh.

Anyway, going moving on from the relatives and gong back to the teeth. It's the 7th. Actually now I think about it, it's the 8th. Now, before you all run off and think "OMG THE DICTATOR'S A RETARD", 7 of the 8 teeth were babies (although 3 of the 7 were babies that had no other tooth coming down after them, so they were, effectively, adults).

I think the conclusion one can draw from this information, is that the Dictator is a lazy muntmouth.
Well...not the lazy bit, I drew that conclusion myself.
