Holy dear lord!! have I ever been neglecting my livejournal!!!!!!!
sorry to all.

As you can imagine I have been so busy (which is just something that always is in my life) I have had so much that has happened I could never fit it into one journal entry, nor am I gonna try, I'll just touch down on some of the more important things that have been and will be...

First off, I finally gave birth to my son Lynx Alexander Allard! (well that happened almost 2 months ago) He was born on December 31. He was a whopping 8lb. 12oz. My darling baby boy has been nothing but a joy in my life, He completes me. Right now he still has his days and his nights kinda mixed up, but we're working on it. He was also born with clubbed feet (inword turned feet) and they have to be casted in Cranbrook every week. My poor little smuffins does not like doctors, but it will be short lived. He really is a great kid, such a moma's boy, I love you Lynx my lil' fuzzy!!
FUZZY!
Other things that have happened in my life over the last couple months:
Ashy is home for a wee bit. I try to spend time with her as I can. She is a real sweety though, she comes over and does her best to keep me socialized, although I could have done without the Rocky Horror Picture Show...... but hey everyone needs a little transvesty exposure in their lives.. don't they? Alas soon my Ashykins will be heading up to northern B.C. for work. I'm really glad to see so many opertunities opening up for her, although I miss her when she is away. *sniff*
Also Chrissy has gone away for work. I miss him tons too. His mom said he couldn't call or go on the internet last time I seen her, though I fail to remember why? I sent him 50 lbs of Porn mags to show my love and how much I miss him. If that isn't love I don't know what is!
I have finished renovating my living room. *WHEW!!* what a job that was! It looks great, it's nice to finally have some color in there. Jim made my whole year by buying me some fancy smancy furniture to make the room just right. I'm so darn lucky*** :)
Last night we went to the Rod and Gun Club banquet. It's like the biggest redneck gathering of the year. It was nice, It was my first official social outing since Lynx was born. It was so great to mingle and say "Hey Ya'll!" again. We even won a Ducks Ulimited framed and signed print, Which was super neato too.
Tomorrow We're off to Calgary and too the childrens hospital to see a specialist about Lynx's feet. I'm really nervous about the ride up, I'm really hoping Lynx will sleep most of the way. I'm looking forward to seeing jims brother and his wife though, They are thinking of having a baby, so I get to share all the cool mommy opinions and ideas with them. Motherhood is like a club or something, once you have a kid it's like you have a right to speak out and say stuff and act all experienced and stuff. It rocks :) Also I so want to strap the Lynx in the snuggly and go mall hopping. I really miss shopping, even window shopping, mmmm shopping. We should be back on Wednesday.
Jim has secured our Cruise ticket for 2005. I'm so anxious, but now that I have Lynx I'm also nervous. We will be leaving the little gaffer with grandma and grampa for the two weeks and that almost makes me wet myself. So far the longest I have left him is 7 hours and 36 minutes, and that seemed too long. Everyone keeps telling me by the time the Cruise rolls around I will be more then happy to take a break. EEP! But I have been wanting to go on this vacation for what is now years, so I will go...and I will probably love it dispite my son missingness.
I also have one more thing to record before I end this entry. I have decided on one more pet to add to my collection, and probably the last cause this ones a biggin. You think I'd be happy with my domestics being my two cats and the dog, my semi-exotics being my ferret and the toads, and my exotic being the chameleon, but no, I have the want for one more very special critter. You could say that my son inspired me, or you could say that it inspired me with my son. I've always had a love for pets, especially the unique and exotic, and as far as pets go you just can't get anymore exotic. I'm going to get a Canadian Lynx! Yep you heard me. They have always been my fav big cat. I had no Idea that they had been domesticated until one day I was plopped in front of the tube watching Animal planet and low and behold! There they were! Sitting happily in some lady's living room. Gee golly! Well just so all those reading this don't think I'm jumping into something I have no Idea about, I'm going to put off going and getting me one until 2006. I have to do my reserch and know the facts, so far from what I've read a Lynx will fit into my lifestyle quite well, but there are other issues too. Like the laws. From what I know there are no laws against owning exotic animals in Canada, outside of a few cities that you need permits for, but I have to know for sure. Also every breeder I have looked up so far is in the states, so I have to look into what is needed to transfer over the border. and then there is home stuff, like making sure the house as well as the outdoor exclosure is "Cat Proofed" these babys can jump up to 8 feet. So if I really want this there is alot of things to work out, and I want to give this animal as I do with all my pets the best quality of life. Oh and for once Jim is all for this! which is the biggest suprise ever, usually when I tell him I want to bring home a new baby he throws a fit, so it makes this one just totally off the wall, especially considering how radical this is, and how expensive it will be.
Anyway for those who want to look into it here are a couple sites I have been looking at:
Julies Jungle
Bobcat and Lynx

Anyhoo I should try to get my lil'one to bed
night all!
