New Job
Well, some people know, some people don't. However, I got basically a promotion at work. The job which Emma and I went for as PA. Emma got. More luck to her. Imagine my surprise when I was offered Emma's job and so have spent today helping out with the conference which is coming up on Wednesday and also sorting out stuff for my handover tomorrow. When I get off reception except for cover.
Some of you know how much I've wanted to get my teeth into a meatier role and well now I have it. I'm really glad that I can have this role without moving job as I'd really miss all the people.
In other news had a nice weekend with the_rev_cloney and it was just what I needed. This weekend I'm entirely totally and utterly tired so may in fact go and visit my mother as she's beginning to sound like a jewish mother. 'What you don't love us anymore? That it' and things of other ilk. Sounds rather like the jewish mothers in our D&D game. Also just a note to Krieglust. You are in fact the best. Thanks a million.
I've handed up my assignments and once again have my head almost above water which is ultimately amazing. Well i was amazed. I was beginning to think I'd drown but never mind that.
So I'll update soon. Again. I know I always promise this but never actually get around to it unfortunately. I'll get better at some point.
