Running Shoes and Socks

Have been wanting to buy some socks that I know is available at Running Labs, but not easy to find elsewhere. So I planned a run to Novena. But it was not easy to design a route that is 10 km - the shorter route is far too short, only about 7 km. Eventually I selected a dogleg at a distance of 12 km, over a fairly challenging terrain. The overall pace was shit, but what the heck.

Used the existing membership to get a small discount for the socks. As it turns out, the transaction that caused me to purchase the membership was right on my feet, purchased at the very same store. The running shoes alone cost well over $200, with the resultant discount greater than the cost of the membership, and I was happy enough with the socks to return for a second pair.

My feet is extremely picky when it comes to running shoes and socks. Once I found suitable gear for my feet, I am very reluctant to change brand and model. Prior to finding my current kind of socks, I had been wearing socks that already have holes when running, because that model had stopped production and I took a long time to find replacements.
