Summary: Chinen buys Yamada a pair of ear buds, Yamada is looking for the squirrel, Ookajima are arguing about music notes, Daiki is scolding Takaki for hiding his pockies, Ryutaro is telling Hikaru to shut up in a nice way and Yabu is trying to prevent Inoo from cooking weird things for dinner.

Yamada sighed as he took the bus home from school; he sat there looking out through the window. “Damn you teacher, why did you have to give us so much homework for the weekend? It’s the weekend for pete sake and to top it off, I’m a singer!!! I have way too many schedules to finish up these damn homeworks!!” Yamada literally screamed in his head. He sighed once more and ruffled his hair, “it’s going to be a loooooong weekend, and I’m not looking forward to it at all”.
The bus had stopped at his bus stop; he grabs his things and gets off. He then walked down the usual way back home to Hey Say Jump’s dorm. Before he even got the chance to bring the key near the key hole, he can already hear the commotion inside. Seems like Keito and Yuto are both arguing by what music note to put down next, Ryutaro is yelling at Hikaru to be quiet since his loud tone of voice is disturbing his game playing moment. Daiki is scolding Bakaki for hiding his box of pocky that he just barely bought, and Yabu is trying to prevent Kei from cooking weird things for dinner.
Yamada sighed and unlocks the door; everyone looked up and greeted him, quickly Yuto and Keito both ran up to him with papers in their hands. “Yama chan, please persuade Keito to add this note instead of that one. We’ve both played it on the guitar and drum and it sounds weird” Yuto said while shoving the paper towards Yamada. “The note sounds fine Yuto, you’re just being a whiner. Yamada, tell Yuto that we should stick with my note instead of his” Keito simply said. Yamada sighed and pushed the papers back to Yuto, “you’re a couple, figure it out” both boys looked at each other, pouted and went back to their previous positions.
Yamada took a peek inside the kitchen; Yabu was standing in front of the stove with his arms stretched out. “No Kei, I will not let you touch the oven” Kei had a tray in his hands and on the tray was some round dough from what Yamada observed. “Oh c’mon Yabu, it’s not like I’m going to blow up the dorm. Only Yuri does that”
“That’s not the point Kei; and I know well that you’re not going to blow up the dorm. But…” Yabu looked at the dough, “nobody would want to eat that” Yabu said with a disgusted face. Yamada shook his head and walked into the living room. There sat Ryutaro on the sofa with his Nintendo DS in his hands and yelling at Hikaru. “Hikaru, would you please be quiet, you’re too loud” Ryutaro yelled, Hikaru looked at Ryutaro and smiled and talked even louder. Yamada rolled his eyes and averted his eyes to the couple. Daiki was standing up with his left hand on his hip and the right hand pointing at Takaki while he scolded him.
Yamada looked around the room, scanning for one certain person. Without thinking much he headed off to his shared room with Chinen Yuri. He opened the door, expecting Chinen to be there waiting for him. Yamada seriously need some peace and quiet moment right now, when he opened the door, instead of seeing Chinen he saw an empty dark room. Yamada switched on the light and went to place his things down on the queen size bed. He sat down on the bed and rubbed his face, he looked up and around the room scanning for Chinen.
After giving up, he got up and left the room, “hey Yabu” Yabu turned to look at Yamada while still stretching his arms, preventing Kei. “Yeah?”
“Where’s Yuri?” Yamada asked, “Oh, he said that he’s going to the store”
“For what?” Yabu shrugged, “he didn’t tell me, all he told me was “if Ryosuke comes home and asks for me, tell him that I went to the store” and then he took off. NO KEI GET AWAY!!!!” Yabu got distracted while telling Yamada what Chinen had told him to tell Yamada, while Kei took that chance to push Yabu away and grabbed a hold of the oven handle. Yamada shook his head and headed back to his room. He closed the door, wishing the noisy noise would go away, but it didn’t. Yamada really need to get with his homework, he walked up to his bag which was lying on the bed. He opened it and grabbed his folders and books. He then headed towards the desk and sat down, starting on his homework. Apparently Yamada couldn’t call Chinen because Chinen didn’t take his phone; his phone was on the desk charging. Yamada sighed, how much he misses Chinen’s company right now, he rubbed his face once more, picked up his pencil and started on his homework.
The door to Hey Say Jump’s dorm opens and Chinen walks in, Yabu stuck his head out from the kitchen. “Oh hey Chii, Ryosuke is home, he was asking for you” Chinen looked up, “Oh? Thanks Yabu” Chinen took off his shoes, “you guys are still going at it? Oh my gosh” Chinen walked up to Keito and Yuto, he grabbed the pencil from Yuto’s hand and scribbled down a note. “Now, play with that one and see if it works” Chinen said and took off to the other commotion, Ryutaro was still telling Hikaru to shut up. Chinen walks up to Hikaru, takes out a tape from out of no where and taped Hikaru’s mouth. “Mm mmm mmph!!!” Hikaru said, Ryutaro laughed while pointing at Hikaru. “Thank you Chii” Ryutaro said and got back to his game. Chinen nodded and walked up to the couple, “Dai chan, Yuya hid your box of pocky in his school bag, now would you quit scolding the poor man?” Chinen told and asked Daiki, Daiki stopped and looked at Chinen. “Really?” Chinen nodded, “AH THANK YOU YURI!!!” Daiki said loudly and hugged Chinen tightly and then took off to his shared room with Takaki. Takaki sighed, “thank you Chii, I thought Daiki would never shut up about his damn pocky” Takaki said and Chinen laughed. Next, Chinen walked into the kitchen and saw that Yabu and Kei were both fighting to get the tray out from the oven.
“Kei…” Kei turned around, “yeah?”
“Please don’t cook something that will poison our stomachs later.” Chinen said, Kei let go of the tray, Yabu took this chance to pull out the tray and dump the dough into the trash can. “Just let Yabu do the cooking, yeah?” Kei stood there with a pout, “mou Chii you’re cruel” Chinen laughed and walked up to Kei, he ruffled Kei’s hair. “We still love you though, but just leave the cooking to the experienced ones, okay?” Kei nodded, “what’s in that bag?” Kei asked, Chinen looked down at the bag, “oh just something I bought for Ryosuke. Ja…seems like everything is much quieter now, I’ll be going, call us whenever dinner is ready” Chinen said and left the kitchen.
He walked up to his shared room with Yamada; he opened the door and saw Yamada doing his homework on the desk with a pair of ear phones in his ear. Chinen walked in, closed the door and placed the bag on the bed. He then walked up behind Yamada and hugged him around the neck; Yamada jumped and turned around to face who was hugging him. He smiled when he saw the familiar face; he quickly pulled out the ear phones. “Hey you’re home” Chinen nodded, “where did you go?”
“I went to the convenience store”
“For what?”
“To buy something for you whenever the dorm goes crazy like it did a little while ago” Chinen told him, Yamada stayed still for a while, “eh…how come it’s quiet now?” Chinen laughed, “That’s because I solved everything for everyone” he said and unhooked himself from Yamada. He walked up to the bag and grabbed whatever was in it, he handed a small package to Yamada. “What’s this?”
“It’s an ear plug, you plug each of these ear plugs into your ears and it completely blocks out any sound” Chinen told him, “really?” Chinen nods, “try it” Yamada tore the package open and stuck each ear plug into his ear. Chinen started to scream for Yamada’s name but Yamada couldn’t hear him, Chinen stopped and smiled. Yamada pulled the ear plug out, “sugoi, it really work” Chinen laughed and nodded. “I bought a pair for myself two weeks ago; I decided to buy you one so that you can block all the noise that the other members cause in the dorm, like it?” Yamada nods, “I love it, come here” Chinen walked up to Yamada and Yamada pulled him down on his lap. “I miss you” Chinen giggled, “you always do” Yamada laid his head on Chinen’s back, “of course” he said while closing his eyes and smiling. “Neh, don’t fall asleep on my back, you still have your homework to finish” Chinen told him, Yamada only nodded and allowed sleep to over take it. After awhile, Chinen sighed knowing well that Yamada had fallen asleep on him; he shook his head, got up to his feet and pulled his lover to lay under the blanket.
He stood there watching as Yamada slept, breathing in and out. Chinen smiled, bent down and laid a soft kiss on his forehead. “Oyasumi” he said, he then left the room and walked back to the living room where everyone else was at. “Where’s Ryosuke?” Daiki asked as he stuffed more pockies into his mouth, “he’s asleep” Chinen answered and took a seat beside Daiki. “Want some?” Daiki offered and Chinen shook his head, Daiki shrugged, “suit yourself then”.
Later that night, Chinen opened the door to their bedroom and saw that Yamada was still asleep; he smiled and walked up to the sleeping figure. He bent down and kisses Yamada’s cheek, “neh sleepy head” Chinen whispered, and Yamada stirred a bit and opened his eyes. “Dinner is ready, Yabu told me to come wake you up” Chinen told him with a smile. Yamada nodded and got up rubbing his eyes, “did you have a good sleep?” Yamada yawned and nodded. Chinen stood up; “c’mon sleepy head, hurry or else the food would be all gone by the time we get there” Yamada got out of bed and stood next to Chinen. He grabbed Chinen’s hand and pulled him out of the bedroom, dragged him all the way to the dining room. There sat every members of Hey Say Jump, digging into the dinner that Yabu had made.
“Glad that you are able to join us sleeping prince” Yabu said with a smile, “take a seat and enjoy the dinner before you go off to your slumber again” Yamada only rolled his eyes at Yabu’s stupid comment and took a seat next to Chinen. “Here you go” Chinen had scooped some food into Yamada’s plate, “arigatou Chii” Yamada thanked him and pecked him on the cheek. “Please, no lovey dovey moments at the table” Hikaru told them. “Oh whatever Hika chan, you’re just jealous you don’t have anyone to cuddle and” Yamada started, “Ryosuke, be quiet and eat your food” Chinen scolded him. Yamada immediately shut up and started to eat, while Hikaru snickered at how easily Yamada gave in to Chinen. After dinner, Chinen and Yamada had taken off back to their shared room. “I’m going to take a shower first” Chinen told Yamada, Yamada nodded while sitting at the desk facing his homework. Chinen went to the closet and pulled out his pajama and took off to the shower. Just when Chinen left, the same noise that Yamada heard earlier today when he got home from school had returned. He rubbed his forehead, snatched the ear plugs that he had left on the desk and stuck it into his ears. He smiled, picked up his pencil and continued with his homework.
After Chinen was done taking a hot long shower, he got dressed and came out of the restroom, once he heard the noises coming from the living room. He smiled and shook his head, “they’re at it once again” Chinen said and took off to his bedroom. He opened the door and walked in closing it behind him. “Ryosuke, please turn off the lights when you’re going to bed” Chinen said but got no response from Yamada, “Ryosuke” Chinen said once more, but still Yamada didn’t answer him. Chinen threw his dirty clothes into the laundry basket and walked up behind Yamada, there he saw the ear plugs plugged into Yamada’s ears. Chinen hit his head slightly, forgetting what he had bought for Yamada earlier. He smiled and pulled out the plug in Yamada’s right ear, “eh!” Yamada turned around and smiled. “You smell fresh” was the first words that came out of his mouth when he saw Chinen. “Thank you” Chinen said, “I’m going to bed first, turn off the lights when you’re coming to bed okay?” Yamada nodded, Chinen then handed back the ear plug, and Yamada tapped his mouth. “Kissu first” Chinen smiled and bent down to kiss Yamada a good night kiss before heading off to bed. “Mm…” they both pulled apart, “oyasumi” Yamada told Chinen, Chinen nodded and pecked Yamada’s lip once more. Yamada grabbed the ear plug from Chinen’s hand and stuck it into his right ear and turned back to face his homework. Chinen walked up to the bed, removed the blanket and got under it; he looked at Yamada’s back once more and then closed his eyes.
