Summary: Yamada had been in love with Daiki ever since their middle school years but Daiki likes to play hard to get. So one day, after meeting the 1st year Chinen Yuri, Daiki comes up with a deal between him and Yamada. The deal was Yamada to go out with Chinen for a month and then dump him, after that Daiki will be Yamada's permanently boyfriend. Yamada took the deal without thinking much, as he starts to become closer to Chinen love blossoms between the two. What will happen when Chinen finds out that everything was just a DEAL to begin with?
He sat from afar, watching as his sempai talked with girls and boys, smiling and laughing as the conversation went on. He sighed and looked down at his fingers and then back up at his sempai “sayonara…sempai…”
It was the starting of a new school year, colors of leaves starting from red to brown to orange and yellow fell slowly down from the tree and landed on the cool crisp ground. He ran down the side walk, running, stepping and cracking each leaves as he went. The cool autumn air stung his soft white porcelain face, he breathed harder and harder as he tried his best to reach the gate of his school. His right foot passed the gate just in time before the people beside the gate closed it. He stopped and panted, both of his hands were resting on his knees. He looked up as many other students walked passed him, down the gray cement towards the entrance of the school building.
“That…was…tiring” he said between pants, he took in a deep breath and got up, “ano….” He heard a voice coming from the side of him. He turned to look, there stood a smaller boy, his hair neatly combed giving off the vibe of a boy Barbie? How is that possible? His bangs were slightly over his eyebrows; his beautiful dark eyes stared at him and those cute duckable lips. “Ano…can…can you help me with something?” the smaller boy asked. “Um…sure” he said, “I’m looking for the auditorium, I need to attend the opening ceremony” the smaller boy told him. “Ah…sure, follow me” the smaller boy nodded his head and followed the bigger boy, “you’re new here?” the smaller boy nodded, “hai, this is my first day”
“So…you’re a first year then?”
“Hai”
“Cool, what’s your name?”
“Chinen Yuri”
“Yuri? Isn’t that a girl’s name though?”
“Ano…well”
“Ah…sorry, I shouldn’t have asked that stupid question, just disregard it. Anyways, I’m Yamada Ryosuke, a 2nd year student here” Yamada introduced himself, “ah then you’re my sempai, nice to meet you sempai” Chinen said and bowed. The both of them stopped at a double door, “here’s your destination Chinen kun” Chinen turned to look at the double door and then back at Yamada. “Thank you Yamada sempai” Chinen thanked him and then entered the building.
Yamada stood there for awhile and then finally taking off to the place where he was supposed to be. After the opening ceremonies of a new school year, Yamada walked off to his homeroom. Once he entered he walked up to his group of friends. “Yo Yama” Hikaru greeted him and they both did their usual hand shake. “Took you long enough” Takaki said while looking at his reflection in the mirror fixing his bangs. “Where’s Daiki?” Yamada asked while sitting down, “he hasn’t come in yet” Hikaru told him while looking out through the window.
“Did you guys get a chance to see the freshmens?” Keito asked while tuning his guitar, “nah, but I hope that there will be are some cute girls” Hikaru said while still looking out through the window. “I ran into one before the ceremony for the 2nd years started” Yamada told them. “Eh? Was she a cutie?” Hikaru asked automatically turning his attention to Yamada. “Well to start it off Hikaru, it wasn’t a girl, it was a boy” Yamada sad, “aww well that’s a bummer, no need for me to listen then” Hikaru then went back to look out the window.
“How was he like?” Yuto asked Yamada; “just like every other freshmens we see in our first year here, short and lost” Yamada said and laughed. “That’s a good one” Takaki said while putting his mirror down, just then Daiki walked in. “Oh hey Dai chan, lover boy over here was asking for you a moment ago” Takaki told Daiki, Daiki looked at Yamada and smiled. “You sure are attracting more girls this year” Daiki told Yamada as he took a seat ahead of him. Yamada leaned forward and started to play with Daiki’s hair. “Yeah, but only one interests me, and that’s you” Yamada said and kissed Daiki on the cheek, “baka” Daiki slapped Yamada on the head.
“Quit being lovey dovey bastards, its gross” Hikaru told the two, Yamada laughed and sat back in his chair. After the teacher came in and did her usual roll call, she started teaching. After the teaching lesson the bell rang, letting students know that lunch has started. “C’mon Ryo chan, let’s go get lunch at the cafeteria” Daiki said, Yamada nodded and followed Daiki down the hallway towards the cafeteria. “Yeah, so I met this…ouch” Yamada had bumped into someone, causing him to stumble and fall. “Ryo chan” Daiki quickly ran up to Yamada. Daiki turned to look at the person at the other end, “oi, can’t you see where you’re walking chibinen?” Daiki asked angrily. Yamada looked up and saw Chinen Yuri, the same boy he had saw earlier today.
“Daiki its okay” Yamada said, he got up and walked up to Chinen, he stretched out an arm to help him. “Are you okay? I’m sorry that I wasn’t looking where I was going” Yamada said, Chinen looked up, “sempai” Chinen quickly got up without accepting the offer. “I…I’m so sorry for not watching where I was going, gomenasai” Chinen said and bowed. Yamada laughed, “no need to Chinen kun, it was partially my fault as well” Chinen looked up. “Sorry…” Daiki walked up to the two, “you know him Ryo?” Yamada looked at Daiki and nods, “he’s the boy I helped out earlier today, his name is Chinen Yuri” Yamada told Daiki. “Getting lunch?” Yamada asked and Chinen nodded, “ja, well I’ll have to go back now, sorry for the accident Yamada sempai” Chinen said, bowed and then left the two.
“C’mon Dai chan” both boys got into line and waited for their turn to get their foods. It was now after school, Yamada was at the gate waiting for Daiki to walk pass. “Yamada sempai?” Yamada turned around and saw Chinen walking up to him. “Oh hey Chinen kun, going home?”
“Hai, I’m waiting for my cousin, he’s supposed to pick me up and then we’re heading to the arcade afterwards”
“Eh? That sounds like fun, so you like games then?” Chinen shook his head, “eh? Then why are you going to the arcade?”
“My cousin wanted someone to accompany him while he’s at the arcade, I agreed to it, might as well stick with the agreement” Chinen said with a laugh, “that’s true”
“Are you waiting for someone?” Chinen asked and looked behind him, “hai, I’m waiting for my friend, he’s supposed to be here by now” Yamada said and looked at his watch. “Ja…I’ll be going first then, see you some other time sempai” Chinen said and waved bye to Yamada, Yamada nodded and waved back. Just then Daiki walked up to Yamada and tapped him on the shoulder, “who were you waving at?” Daiki asked while looking behind Yamada.
“The freshmen we bumped into at lunch today”
“Oh you meant that chibinen?”
“Dai chan he has a name”
“Yeah…well I don’t know his name”
“I thought I told you already, Chinen Yuri”
“I think I like chibinen better” Daiki said and Yamada laughed, “sorry to keep you waiting though, I had to discuss some stuff with my teacher” Daiki told him, Yamada nodded, “ja ikou?”
“Un” both boys then took off from school grounds heading towards Yamada’s house. “Tadaima” Yamada said once he walked inside with Daiki following him. “Ah Ryo kun you’re home ah konbanwa Dai chan” Yamada’s mother greeted the both of them. “Konbanwa Yamada san” Daiki greeted back and bowed, “mom we’ll be in my room, call us when dinner is ready” Yamada told his mother while walking upstairs to his room. “Hai~” his mother answered back, Yamada opened the door to his bedroom and switched on the lights. Daiki walked in as well and shut the door behind him, suddenly Yamada grabbed Daiki’s hand and spun him around to face him. He pushed Daiki against the door and attacked his lips, “mmph…” Daiki moaned out, Yamada’s hand quickly traveled up Daiki’s shirt and pinched his nipple. Yamada let go of Daiki’s lips and start to kiss down his jaw line to his neck.
“Ryo…chan” Daiki said, Yamada stopped, breathing hard, he pulled back. “When will you say yes?”
“You know that I like to play hard to get, why are you even asking?” Yamada smirks, “just give me my answer already” Daiki looked at Yamada and smirked back, “how about…we make a deal” Yamada cocked up one of his eyebrow, “deal?” Daiki nods, “hai”
“Eh…omoushiro…what’s the deal?”
“The deal is this, if you can get Chinen kun to become your boyfriend for one month, I’ll go out with you permanently afterwards…dou?” Yamada stepped backwards and put a finger under his chin, pondering to agree with the deal or not. After a good minute or two Yamada smiled and nod, “you Arioka Daiki, just got yourself a deal, but remember it. After one months with Chinen kun, I’ll break it off with him, after that, you” Yamada go closer to Daiki again, he lifted up Daiki’s chin, “will be mine, permanently” Yamada said and kissed Daiki hard on the lip.
