I'm going to follow in the foot steps of Rachel Joyce and make an update while waiting in the computer lab. I taught a lesson this morning, turned in a paper i missed yesterday, and also turned in my summer school info. Jaeshke said to turn it into the history guy, but i'm thinking it's wrong. there's no place for him to sign and nothing to do on it, but thats what Jaeschke told me. Now im just pretty hungry and waiting for rachel to get done with her voice studio class. We understand why we are such good friends....we share a love for food. And not only do we love it, we're always hungry so if one of use needs an eating partner, we can always count on the other. It's a good relationship we got going.
Plans for starved rock this weekend are looking good. And the weather is looking to be pretty good too. And yes Dawn, i know formal is that night!! I wouldn't miss it for the world. there's going to be some hot tango-ing going on. Speaking of tango, swing is taking up a little bit too much time. 4 hours sunday night. Normally i wouldnt care, but they planned it this way. There was no practices scheduled at the beginning, so now they have to cram as much in as possible in the less than two weeks we have left. It will be nice once next weekend is over. Jazz band concert and SPD formal next friday, swing show saturday, and band concert sunday. I'm still not sure what the whole schedule is like for symphonic band. Student conductors concert, triple concert, and is there an outdoor one thats different? I could just look on my syllabus in band today and find out, but i always forget. Again, listening to Maslanka as we speak.
Got a nice e-mail from Doctor neil last night. I had to slide my homework under her desk yesterday since i didnt make it to class and she e-mailed me about how she's confident that I know what im doing, and coming from her, that meant a lot. But its also ironic because the same day my parents and i had a conversation about me changing my major. They are still not liking the music ed thing. My dad is really pushing for a business major, and if not that, at least a minor, something to fall onto. And yeah, i agree with him, it would be good to have, but i honestly don't know if i have enough time in my schedule to get a minor that has no affiliation with music, it would have to be all new classes, no overlapping. My dad wants me to take a bunch of summer courses, but I already have a full time job working 40 hours a week plus and hour of commuting each day, then I'm going to be taking history at COD which is monday nights from 6-10. i don't know where he wants me to be able to fit an entire minor in there. We'll see this summer, i'm sure there will be much talk about it, i can already tell.
I had a great conversation with someone last night. I know you read this now, and yeah, im talking about you. I'm glad some things got clarified. Also on last night, sorry to anyone who i sent that AIM thing to. We can all thank charlie for that one. Only four weeks left.......!!!!!!
Well, I'm really running out of things to say. I should be writing my paper. I did get 3 full pages written yesterday, so i only need to write 2 for tomorrow morning. But I have band, jazz and then swing. Swing better end on time tonight, and if not, im leaving cause its not my fault they waited this long to start a whole new dance.
RACHEL JOYCE WHERE ARE YOU!!! im hungry!
