(no subject)
So no starved rock today; weather is kinda shitty. But we have plans on going next saturday and now more people can go. Last night was kinda fun. I wasn't feeling the greatest, but I ended up going to Amanda and Linsy's friend Andrea's house. I think the funniest time was when i found the pamphlet about "turning a new leaf" and i went to go show it to amanda, but i didnt realize there was a step there, and i fell flat on my face. Guess you had to be there but you get the point!
I really should be working on my LS paper, but theres still no motivation, hey, at least I took a shower and its only 2. Tonight is the peer mentor group outing. Dinner at Faith's, a recital, then we're all going bowling. It's a good group of people plus bowling, cmon what could be better?!
So I have mixed feelings about going home. I got the job working with my dad and that will be nice because I have a set schedule and will be making good money, but on the other hand, I will really miss a lot of things about school, well, not a lot, just the people. I also know that I will probably barely ever practice and it will kick me in the ass when i get back to school. My goal of the summer is so practice about 2 hours a week so at least keep my ambiture going. Luckily there's that drive-in movie theater that sarah and i can make use of! But it will be nice to see the few people from hs that i keep in good contact with. Im sure over summer things get back to normal since everyone has the same problem. I plan on driving up here often for Geneseo, Bettendorf, Illinois City and Milan and stuff. Too many townies to pass up for a whole summer! And let's not forget the road trip to IKEA we have planned!
I like how i made a playlist of songs to listen to as i write my LS paper, and I've listened to it about 4 times, but have yet to even start on my paper!
Well, i might head on over to the library, get some Baptist stuff done. Tomorrow is gunna be kinda busy so i should really get started on this.
