Winter Break ended today
Ok so school officially starts back up tomorrow. Break was pretty good, I did go to Tampa, Florida for 4 days at the beginning of the break and it was amazing. I actually almost didn't return. Everything about that place is me, the weather, the water, the people, the night life... oh wow... I'm going to try and make it back there on spring break. My cousin lives there so I might be able to stay with her, of course I plan on taking a few friends along but I'm sure she won't mind.
So today was interesting, (oh by the way I moved back to OU last night at around 11:00pm) I didn't have my book because I left it in my friends car the last day of exams, so I called him today and asked if I could arrange a way to pick it up, he isn't coming back to OU this quarter because he's doing an internship, so that required me to drive to Marrietta to pick it up. I didn't realize marietta was so far until I started driving, I drove for about an hour with no marietta in sight, so I called my friend and asked why i wasn't there yet. I was completely horrified by his response. I had been going to wrong way the whole time and had crossed through atleast 3 counties if not more. I turned around immediatly and started heading back towards athens, as soon as I did so I noticed a sign that said Athens 50 MILES!!! I had gone 50 miles in the wrong direction, and it was a good thing a turned arounf then cause I only had 52 miles left on my gas tank... hahaha
So I didn't even get my bookbag, but I did get to experience a wonderful drive down Appalaciah Highway!
