...some kind of fast forward button so I can skip the next few weeks/months of infernal cold snap and get to some proper weather (rain of course, I am English after all)
-15 this morning. At 9am. Minus bloody 15. It's not been above 0 at all today, and it's just going to continue. I can't wait for all the snow (even where it's compacted it's still 1-2 inches deep. Where it's not been touched it's 5 or 6) to just freeze and for all the grit salt to run out (which it's apparantly doing) and then for all our gas reserves to run out and we're all going to die.
However, I did see an amazing picture on the news just now. Britain, from space. The entire country is just white. Snow is pretty........ right up until you have to go anywhere.
