Loads and loads of books to review...
The Big Cat Nap by Rita Mae Brown; another excellent installment in her Sneaky Pie Brown/Mrs. Murphy mysteries...best part is it's autographed by the author! My mom is awesome!
The Reformed by Tod Goldberg; I continue to be impressed by how true to the Burn Notice characters this author seems to be. When we haven't watched the show for a while - and we're not sure when we will...it's nice to have these books to fall back on.
The Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher...I've read all six, and for starting with two ridiculous premises, the series is pretty damn good. Funny, thought-provoking, entertaining, and engaging. What more could you want?
Oh! I know! A thousand-or-more-year-old Druid, his apprentice, the Trickester, and other assorted characters in a brilliant book by Kevin Hearne: Tricked. Yes, I want the next book (Trapped) NOW but it won't be out until November.
And...The Serpent's Shadow by Rick Riordan. I want more Kane Chronicles! Hopefully there will be more books with these characters...I like the fact that Riordan spread out from just the Greek/Roman mythology to Egypt.
