This will probably get another update in due time, when my friend is able to watch it and doublecheck the lyrics for me.

But this is what I've been wanting to upload for a long time: Gackt's '99 concert, where he performs 'Emu,' - with subs, this time.

Thanks to EdenHarumasa for the original clip. Lyrics are credited to both lyrics007.com, and Sora from PI, who was kind enough to look at a few lyrics Gackt sang a bit differently in this version from the recorded.

About the song itself, I stand by that it was one of the songs Gackt wrote for his close friend Kami, who passed away three months after the singer left Malice Mizer. It is believed that 'Emu' is the song 'For You,' which we know Gackt DID write in memory of the drummer. There is evidence to support this, and while Gackt himself has never confirmed the suspicion, he has also never denied it. Thus, I prefer to think of 'Emu,' clearly a tribute to someone, as a tribute to his former bandmate and friend.
