*Marco sighs. He sounds tired*
Alright. A lot of you are already volunteering to help, but the problem is we don't have a plan. Nor does attempting to make plans in various entries on shipNET really help us. We need to all get together and go over this at once, instead of try to bring together all the scattered ideas

*Cause he knows Ed is new, but doesn't know if Ed has seen them or not*

Had no idea there were even bears to not worry about in the first place, but okay.
Do you want me to bring over anything before I head over? Books, paper, weapons, something?
Reply
I'm not sure if we'll do anything aside from make sure everyone's on the same page and make a plan, so I don't think you'll need anything. But bring something if you want.
But leave any library books behind.
Reply
No, no, no, I've heard all about those books. I haven't gone anywhere near the library. [There's an unmistakable trace of sadness in his voice at that. Libraries are more sacred to him than church.]
I'm heading over! [The comm clicks off.]

*Marco is really not happy with the loss of the library either. Though he's even more unhappy with the loss of memories it's caused.*
Be careful.

Hey, is this Marco's room?
[There's a knock on the right door this time. Yay.]

*Marco waves Ed over when he notices him*
Over here.

[...that would explain why nobody was actually responding. Heh, the absence of actual doors would do that.
He strides over, acting as though he hadn't just made a complete fool of himself.]
Just... uh, staking out the area first. Making sure she wasn't around or watching and all that stuff...

*Marco was more than willing to ignore anything odd Ed had done, at least outwardly.*
Everything indicates that this deck is safe.
Ed, right?

So, first lemme ask you this: do you have any sort of plan or are we all meeting specifically so we can come up with one? I mean, obviously we're not gonna just run up to her and just wing it, hoping it'll work.

I have a... well, admittedly it's a framework of a plan. I'm curious about the cage she was confined in... well, if it was a cage at all. I keep hearing people use the word "cage" but wasn't it a building more than a steel contraption? I'm thinking if we can somehow find a way to reconstruct it, whatever voodoo the Captain put on it might somehow work again. It's a long shot, and it's not foolproof. But it's better than nothing.
But obviously she's strong, so here comes another problem: how do we weaken her to the point where we could even do that? I don't think she'd be too happy on being put back where she belongs. We need people who can put up a good fight, and for a while.

How familiar are you with magic? And don't tell me it doesn't exist; that's what I thought to. It may not exist in your world, but it does here.

I... I'm very skilled at alchemy, yes.
[There's no trace of smugness in his voice - he really does have faith in his own abilities.]
[He turns his right arm into a blade to demonstrate.] That would be a very basic form of alchemy.

I don't mean alchemy, I mean magic. I know what alchemy is.
*Or he's noticed some of Ed's other lectures on it, at least*
