*Marco sighs. He sounds tired*
Alright. A lot of you are already volunteering to help, but the problem is we don't have a plan. Nor does attempting to make plans in various entries on shipNET really help us. We need to all get together and go over this at once, instead of try to bring together all the scattered ideas

With a picture of Deck One fixed firmly in her mind, the Rowan stands, and teleports herself there. Telekinesis is one of her strongest Talents, and the 'port is smooth and lands her exactly where she wanted to be.
At this point, she realizes she doesn't actually know Marco's name, so she starts scanning the deck for people.]

Ah, hey.
*If she's here to help then all the better. If not, then he can offer to offload some of his sushi on her.
Since she'd be able to tell, Marco looks calm but he's actually rather worried about this. He wants to get it over as soon as possible, but at the same time he refuses to move unless they have enough information (and is uncertain how much 'enough information' even is). He's also planning on seeing if he can get other people to move while he doesn't have to do anything dangerous, but that's largely out of 'I can't do anything fancy' and 'I promised I'd be careful' instead of being a coward.
And he's still uber pissed at Jenjen and feels guilty about all of it. Though mostly now he's trying to focus on just gathering information and making plans/figuring out who might be useful*

Hello. You're the one I was talking to earlier, aren't you?
[The telepathic component of her Talent seems to have woken up, and the man's emotions wash over her in a jumble, the occasional loud thought jumping out of the morass. She blinks and starts sorting through to make sense of his mental state.]
Reply
*He raises an eyebrow at her blink; he's curious about it, but not sure if its something he should bother to care about yet. It might just be after affects from teleporting for all he knows.*
((Aaaand there's something else I forgot to mention in permissions. Marco used to have a different name. He considers his name 'Marco' right now, but she can pick up that its not his original/birth name. She can't get the name without the skin-contact needed for reading his thoughts/picking around in his head, though.))

[Her voice is a bit distracted. Dammit, telepathy should not be this hard.
She doesn't offer to shake hands, not wanting to catch even more of Marco's thoughts. The knowledge that "Marco" is not his birth name jumps out at her, and she reflexively attempts to go after the truth, only to hit the same wall that blocks her any time she attempts to perceive outside the passenger decks.]

Ah, is that a title? Or should I use it as your name?
You were the one with the...Talent, right?
*He recognizes her voice, at least. Marco's been getting better and better at doing that.
He's a bit curious of her talent and how it works, but he doesn't ask. At least not yet. And she can probably pick up that he's hoping she can't read his mind, though of course is blissfully unaware that she even tried.*
Right now, I'd rather wait to see if more people will show up.

It's...complicated. Just treat it like a military rank. It's not one, but there's a long explanation I don't feel like getting into right now.
[She'd be sorry about the mind-reading, except it works a lot like hearing. Trying not to pick up the emotions that rattle around at the top of people's minds is like attempting to ignore a shout.]
Talent, yes. It's what we call psychic abilities at home.
I don't mind waiting. I don't have anything better to be doing.
[Since manners are pretty well out the airlock now, the Rowan grabs a nearby pair of deck chairs with telekinesis. They float over to the two of them, one behind her and one behind Marco. The Rowan sits down on hers.]

*Military rank works rather well. Marco still defaults to military ways of doing a number of things, like referring to people by their rank. Unless its Captain...*
Ah. So you can read minds, teleport and... *he glances to the moving chairs, then takes a seat on his* move objects. Sounds useful.
*Very useful. He are interested*
I doubt any of us do now. At least anything we can do.

[About which the Rowan is most put out, and it shows. Talent is all she's good for, and not having it function properly is a major hit to her self-worth.]
Telekinesis and teleportation are more reliable, but everything's harder than it should be.
[She leans back in her chair and scrubs at her face with both hands. The headache from trying to break through the damper is lingering. No one told her where to find pain-killers, and she wouldn't know the common brands, anyway.]
Reply
*Its only an idle curiosity to him, since Marco had no special powers to get nerfed up, anyway. He could probably imagine how annoying it was, but he doesn't care to try yet*
Is there anything else you can still do?

I'd be out of here in a heartbeat if my range weren't being restricted.
[Other facets to her Talent. None, really. She's your bog standard 'path and 'port, completely unremarkable except for her strength.]
Clairvoyance, but I was never great at that even at home. I can make gestalt, but it's not like that matters. There are only a few other sensitives around, and I can't feel any generators within range.
I haven't got a shred of precog, or any machine or substance affinities. No healing Talent, but I know the basic mental therapy techniques. None of the exotic energy affinities, either.
[Like Marco has any idea what most of that means, but the Rowan's too stressed out and tired to consider that before spouting a bunch of specialist jargon.]
Reply
*Yep, he has no idea what a lot of those are. But he can guess on some--healing, 'precog' and 'sensitives' at least*
I know there are some people here who can do magic, but I'm not sure who nor am I sure if any of its compatible with your Talents. I've heard people called to do healing, as well, but I'm not sure how they do it.
*He sighs a bit*
I'm not really sure what a lot of that means, but I figure you'd be able to tell if someone was suggesting something you could help with.
*Right?*

[The Rowan's world is quite a nice place to live, really.
She shrugs and continues, because escape does not seem likely.]
Theoretically, I'd be able to lend strength to a healer, even if I couldn't help with the actual task at hand, but I don't know how compatible Talent is with other people's abilities. It's something I'd want to experiment with before attempting to do it when it mattered. The last thing I want to find out in an emergency is that it doesn't work and knocks both of us out.

Making sure something works before using it in the field is always wise. I'm sure we can find some way that you can test that with someone. If it'll fix things, I can't imagine many people refusing to help.
*Well, he can, but he'd rather pretend that he's being optimistic. It tends to make other people feel better.*
Reply
[Ordinarily, she'd be interested in the challenge. Right now, her head hurts. Which is why she's not particularly tactful, either.]
Don't lie to make me feel better.

Wha-- *Oh, right, telepathy. He shrugs* ...Force of habit.
*Which is basically the truth.*
