*Marco sighs. He sounds tired*

Alright. A lot of you are already volunteering to help, but the problem is we don't have a plan. Nor does attempting to make plans in various entries on shipNET really help us. We need to all get together and go over this at once, instead of try to bring together all the scattered ideas ( Read more... )

If anyone asks for an escort, I'll be it.

[He's up on deck 1 the moment Marco announces it as a meeting spot]

*Marco grins a bit and waves to Remy as he appears--however he does it*

I knew I could count on you, at least.

At least I'm good for something. What have we got so far?

Not much. A lot of people willing to help, but not many plans on how. I think checking Nirvana, checking for clues at the theater, and trying to confront Jennifer are our only plans right now...but they aren't even fully formed plans.

*He shrugs a bit*

I haven't checked into it myself, but I'm willing to bet that the information we gathered before we went to the island is still valid. Its a starting point, at least.

I'm trying to figure out what everyone can do, too. I know of a few who's abilities might be useful.

*That includes you, Remy :3*

They aren't even fully formed, but they're the best that we've got. They are the sources of all the trouble after all.

[Remy goes to the sushi cart and orders a few pieces of salmon. He receives his sushi and returns to Marco's side.]

I agree on the information. Nothing seems to have changed, so keep the same information in play.

I offer what abilities I can, and know a good deal about what people on the ship are capable of. Anything you're looking for?

Right now...there's a girl called the Rowan who believes she may be able to subdue Jennifer with a, uh, psychic attack of some sort. She thinks she'll need assistance, however.

*He cants his head a bit*

Stop me if you've heard this before, though.

Oh, I know of her. Gave Vanyel quite a headache when she showed up. Wouldn't stop grumbling about it for days.

As for her plan, it could work. I offered similar to Phoenix. Jennifer attacks in the mind, which Rowan can work with. She also attacks with telekinesis, which is a specialty of mine, though I think the sources of our power differ.

*He nods*

She mentioned trying a, uh, mind meld or something with Vanyel and someone else to see if that would help. Rowan gave me some information on her abilities, but I'm uncertain if they'd actually work with anyone else's, but I figured finding people who she may be able to work with on that end could still be useful.

I'm not sure what we'd do with her if she was subdued, though, but at least its a possibility.

[Remy nods.]

I like the idea, but I agree with your concerns regarding what to do with her. I believe Kage said not to kill her. Why is always the question.

He said not to hurt her.

*Marco just looked this up not long ago, so he still remembers it well*

He only bothered to tell Herz that, however, in passing. He also said they were trying to make a new cage for her but...

*He shrugs and shakes his head*

Doesn't matter at the moment. I'd rather not actually confront Jennifer if we can help it.
Ah...Phoenix thinks we may be able to trick her, however. She's from an era in my world--or one similar to it--during a war. He thinks that if we can convince her we're on her side we might be able to speak with her. I'm not sure if it will work, but it may be a viable option if we need a distraction.

I know of one kid who thinks we can remake her old cage, but I doubt he understood what I meant when I tried to tell him it wasn't a literal cage. His idea of checking out the chains that feel when she was released wasn't that bad...at least one person has already offered to check the theater for clues. I told him to be careful, but I don't know if he listened to me.

Still, that he thought to say it gives me pause...

[He listens closely to the plans Marco has heard and runs them through in his mind.]

If she's attacking people she's just running into, then I highly down her ability to be reasoned with. It would have to be a last resort.

Making a literal cage sounds like a horrible idea, but checking the theater is something we definitely have neglected. Hopefully something turns up there.

I would really rather not try talking to her, since only a few of us would be able to even attempt that plan. And I promised I'd be careful; confronting that bitch is not careful.

I doubt a literal cage would work. I just don't think the kid listened. Which is a pity, since he seemed like he might be useful otherwise.

*He shrugs a bit*

I tried to see if anyone was willing to check it out before we docked, but I didn't manage to get anyone to go there. I'm not sure if it will be useful, but I'm positive it will be dangerous.
Vincent told me he'd let me know if he found anything. Rfena mentioned possibly checking it out as well.

*Marco considers for a moment, then sighs*

I think we should go back to Nirvana. I don't think Mr. No Face will give us anything useful, but if he tells us to find something for him again we might be able to get some information from simply where he wants us to check.
There is no way I am letting anyone actually trade with him again, however. But its one of the few places we know to check.

[Remy nods in agreement.]

I think your idea is definitely worth a try, so long as you promise not to hand anything over until I get a good look at it and determine whether or not it is an evil magical item that we should probably leave alone.

[That last bit has a slightly joking tone to it.]

*Marco laughs a bit, but its not a very happy laugh*

I really should have known better than to let them take it there in the first place. Or tell everyone about it. This time I think we'll keep things under wraps until we need to let others in on it.

Probably for the best. People here don't tend to think things through very well.

So I've noticed...sadly.

I'm afraid that, along with the information Phoenix got from his post, is really all I've got so far. Any ideas?
