*Marco sighs. He sounds tired*

Alright. A lot of you are already volunteering to help, but the problem is we don't have a plan. Nor does attempting to make plans in various entries on shipNET really help us. We need to all get together and go over this at once, instead of try to bring together all the scattered ideas ( Read more... )

Uhm, top--top deck, then?

We can talk about that later, too. I'm not sure if its important right now I just want to, ah, compare notes.

But, yes, I'm on the top deck now.

Alright, uhm. Later then.

You...y-you think you guys are gonna act now? Today, I--I mean.

That's fine. *He'd rather do it in private, anyway*

I don't know. It'd be better to get this fixed soon, but I'm not going to let anyone do anything rash again. We still need a plan and more information before doing anything.

...I think this is a bad idea.

[He says it firmly.]

We--w-we should--we should at least wait to hear back from--from the crew. They don't give much, but their information is--i-i--is the one we need.

A think tank is never a bad idea.

Acting on any of the ideas of information without a solid plan and back up plan, however, is. I, at least, won't be acting until we have both. And I'll do what I can to make sure no one else does.

The crew already said that they'd fix this, but it seems they didn't do much. If any are willing to offer assistance or even show their faces enough for us to ask them, I wouldn't be adverse to trying that as well. However, if they are going to sit up in their ivory tower and watch us struggle, I'm not going to wait for them to get bored with this game.

[The opinion of the crew rubs him the wrong way, but it's always hard sticking up for them. They are, after all, the crew.]

And...a--and how do you know...anything we do won't--won't make things worse?

I don't. Which is why I think we need to discuss this all before we do anything.
All I'm looking for right now is that discussion. If the possibility of acting comes up, then we'll deal with it then. I really don't want to make things worse again. And I'm advocating that we think before we act this time.

The last thing I want is a repeat of what happened when Jennifer was let out. I doubt anyone wants that at this point.

Well, look, keep--k-keeping that high opinion of the crew a--a-and feeding it, you know, won't help things either.

They're cleaning up our mess re-r-remember. And--a-and it's just all our luck it's worse than they thought.

They haven't done anything to warrant a higher opinion, Herz. But I'm willing to work with them as much as I'm willing to work with the other passengers. The problem is I can't tell if they want to work with us or if they'd rather just watch us run around.

I won't shoot down a potential ally here, no matter how much I don't get along with them. I can work with anyone if I have to. I will work with Redd if its needed.
I cannot, however, tell if its needed or even wanted if they will not talk to us.

No--no one asks! Everyone just...assumes they--th-they won't answer or they'll show up when they want to.

I've been listening--no one...asks for--f-for the crew.

I--I think, y'know, the--the problem is that, uhm, that they want us to sit on our asses and--a-and it pisses--it--it pisses us all off. No one--no one wants to do it. I--I can't blame them for that, but...look, what does it hurt to--to wait?

[Someone's forgotten how most of Asad debacle went down. They waited then. They waited and the crew let them be killed--let him be killed.]

...

*He sighs a bit*

I never meant to exclude the crew from my message. Perhaps I should go back and note that any input they have would be appreciated. I had hoped that when we said 'does anybody know/can anybody help' it was assumed to be asked of the crew as well a the rest of us.

*He can name at least one instance where someone asked for the crew and none answered, but he won't bring it up. Marco's done with that line of questioning.*

I doubt many of the people here can sit back and do nothing. Its already been made clear how many are willing to do something. Isn't it better to try and direct that into something useful than to let everyone do their own thing? There's less a possibility of one of us fucking things up if we all know what we're doing and think about it.
