*He'd call out Remy, too, but that should be a given.*

Anyone who went to the top deck last night and is willing to tell me what they experienced and thought's input is welcome as well.

*Last line repeats in text.*

+tanvir, @audio, +kevas, +van, +veld, information mongering, +cas, @text, +xia, working, +ironhide

[Fucking locks. Really Kevas might just as well leave it open.]

Where? And about what?

My room. Deck 7, room 6402.

*Marco is unhappy to give his room number out, but he did it when he was sick so...its easy to find now*

About what happened last night, of course.

[Well that last bit is obvious but oh well. He'll just wait until he gets to Marco to find what this is about. That doesn't take long seeing how they're almost neighbors.

Knock knock Marco.]

*Marco looks a hell of a lot better than when Kevas last saw him when he answers the door. He nods to Kevas and steps aside so the troll can enter*

Hey. Thanks for coming.

[Kevas nods back and steps inside.]

Don't be. Dis shit be da whole reason Godric put us togeddah.

Yeah.

*He takes a seat on the bed. Kevas can sit where ever he wants, and Marco assumes he knows this or would offer him one of the chairs.*

Kind of wish it had stayed calmer longer, though. I take it you went above decks last night? What did you think?

T'ings stay calm fuh too long and we get complacent.

[Kevas doesn't feel like sitting at the moment. Instead he'll just lean up against the wall.]

None of dis be good. Sometin' was tryin' to keep us from gettin' up dere, and den dose voices...

[He goes quiet for a moment.]

Stars went missin' too. [Even if they aren't real that can't be a good sign.] And den dat bird.

Sometin' big be comin' mon, and I really doubt it be comin' to bake us some cookies.

True.

*He sighs and almost goes for his cigarettes, but stops.*

What did you hear?

*So far he has no reason to expect that others may have heard different things, but they might be able to give him their opinions on it and that'd be useful.*

[Kevas shifts a little. He never likes it when something gets into his head. Even less so when it starts talking about him.]

Said everytin' be my fault. Shit like dat.

*Blink. Blink blink.*

...it told me it'd give me what I wanted of I brought 'him' to it. I wonder what it told other people...

*He sighs.*

What do you think? About what it might be and about what we should do.

Talkative t'ing ain't it? Maybe it be tryin' to less us what we wanna hear...or don't.

[Which means it can tell what they're thinking. Fan-fucking-tastic.]

Out here it could be anytin', but I don't t'ink it be part of da boat dis time. Sometin' else be out dere and it be havin' us in its sights. Unfortunately we be havin' a distinct lack of infuhmation. We could try gettin' sometin' outta da crew, but it be unlikely dey gonna help us in anyway. Might start tearin' troo da library to see if dere be anytin', but again I doubt it.

Really mon all we can do be try to figuah out what it be befuh it be gettin' here and prepare best we can. We ain't really be havin' a whole lotta good options.

[And the bothers the hell out of him. Sitting around and waiting for whatever this is to come is not a good plan.]

I think I'm going to try and find out what it told everyone else, see if there's any common themes.

Can you keep an eye out? If you see, hear or otherwise find anything out of the ordinary--no matter how small or insubstantial it seems--let me know.

*He sighs*

I'm not sure what to do yet other than that. If I can find anything else, I'll try the library and go through shipNET to see if anything similar ever happened before.
I doubt the crew will be much use. They weren't able to give us much when Jennifer was out, and didn't even bother to try before it got bad.

Out of da ordinary? On dis boat dat be just 'bout everytin'.

[But he knows what Marco's saying.]

Look fuh da bird. I ain't sure what it be havin' to do wid dis, but I know it be apart of it.

[It's the first living thing he's seen since he got here that isn't part of the boat. That can't be a coincidence.]

It was a cardinal, by the way. Or it looked like one. They're common in parts of my world, but I have no idea what it'd be doing here. Or how its connected.

I'll keep an eye out for it, though.
