The "Asian-ness" is "all in the costumes" -- because they weren't drawn with slanty eyes and painted yellow?
Sokka and Katara are "non Caucasian" (as if white is the DEFAULT SETTING?)
and "that sticky race situation" -- because you know, those colored people are such complainers whenever something gets taken away from them and remade white, amirite?

I think I'm done here. I'm not the best judge of character in the world but damn, I sure blew that. I so wanted to post this to the person's journal but that would imply that a dialog is needed or requested. I have nothing more to say. The words "heartsick" and "nauseated" come to mind, but they only scratch the surface.
I'm going to find me some beer and a slice of cake and stab the chair with the seam ripper for awhile.
