so I'm about to go to get some groceries and I go out there and my car is gone.
No shit.
I ask my downstairs neighbor and he says "oh yeah they came by 15 minutes ago" and I was right there in the apartment! Not illegally parked, nothing!
Apparently at 3:30 am, four hours after I got home from work on Tuesday night, they slapped a "tow it" sticker on my car with a 48 hour notice on it. All the time I'm at home by myself enjoying a day off. Today, 36 NOT 48 hours later they snatched my car.
Because the management company here decided it "looked abandoned" and I hadn't put my registration sticker on it yet. It was still in my purse.
They are bringing the car back. But if it takes every goddamn dime I make between now and when the lease expires, I am not staying here. And I am not signing another one.
Period.
Oh and by the way, even though I apologized for calling them STUPID ASSHOLES to their faces, guess what?
