Adventures in Moving!
Okay, so I hired a moving company to help me change apartments. Yay! I got some quotes online and did some research (god I hate referral sites, it's all 50% "they're awesome" and 50% "they suck" and no one puts up an honest review... but anyway...) and I found a local mover and they actually sound like they know what they're doing, very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. I also got a discount for internet referral. I got the move scheduled for noon on that Friday so I can pick up the key first thing and then run back home before they get here. Also that way if I have to work later that evening I won't be too bad off. So I'll have it all packed up and field stripped and ready to get out of there bright and early, and with any luck it'll all be over by dinnertime.
Also I have my moving budget; basically everything that is going into the Paypal acct from the auctions is going toward moving, and I'm at over 50% of what I need to do it with. So, double yay! I was afraid I'd have to take out another loan... so yay.
So that's the current State of the Arlene address... next up, more packing and selling! Woo.
