(no subject)
Overall life is pretty good right now. I'm a bit bored perhaps. But otherwise I'm good. I've got some applications out to various locations but I think I've got a job as a teller with Washington Mutual. I'm pretty excited about that. They're doing my background check right now and I"m assuming I'll pass that. They start at 10-10.25 and hour which will work. I don't think it would take me very long to move up to a personal finance rep which is paid more. It's a good job for me right now. Not too stressful, somewhat interesting, great hours, benefits...
My transitions class is going pretty well. we did our measurements before Melissa left for her trip and in about four weeks (we're sort of taking out a week due to x-mas) I lost almost ten pounds and over 8 inches, 5 of which were in my waist. I'd probably do better but I can't seem to give up my mochas and my mom and I believe in ice cream once a week. (sometimes twice). It's pretty exciting. Melissa did best at sticking to the program before christmas and you can tell. She looks good. I'm excited to see what happens by the end of the program. I'm hoping to get another group going. Especially now taht we are getting good results. IT's a great way to build my business.
I wish I had more interesting things to write but I'm pretty boring right now. I'm no longer sure what state I live in. We've had snow on the ground for weeks now. It's very un-Colorado like. The way it's supposed to work it is snows, it melts, sometime later it snows again. We arent' really supposed to remember the last snow, never mind be able to still see it. I told my mom that you'd almost think it was winter or something. I remember the weather being like this when i was growing up but it's been years. I like it. But then again I drive a jeep. I'm hoping it will warm up a bit after this weekend so I can go snowboarding on tuesday. I'm definitely a colorado skiier in that i'm not a fan of hitting the slopes when it's below freezing. I think the high over the last few days has been in the lower single digits. Thankfully there's absolutely no wind so it doesnt' really feel that cold to me.
