WHOA! Today I was at Southcenter where 2 guys were shot. IT WAS CRRRRRRRRRRRRAZY. Me and Emily were standing by the police tape and the body was literally not even 75 feet away from us. They had a yellow tarp over it but still, it gave me chills. THEN, all of a sudden they lifted the tarp because they were doing some CSI investigation shit and everyone totally saw the body and blood all over the tarp. I seriously felt sick to my stomache. We watched some reporters from KIRO and KING do their news reports and that was pretty NEAT. FYI: Some news reporters look way better on TV than in person. So, I saw my first dead body. It was nuts, let me tell you.
I got my paycheck today and I wanted to cry.
These past couple of days have been really depressing. I've become accustomed to my normal day during summer, and now it's about to change. I don't want it to change. I kind of have a feeling I want to stay in Burien. It's like a comfort zone, I suppose. I've been thinking about relationships with people around me, also. Bah. It just depresses me to all hell.
I'm going to finish eating my 2 day old burrito.
