(no subject)
Man it seems every time I manage to think I'm ALMOST finished compiling something...I forget something else. Working hard on applications. It's been tough to completely motivate myself after work every day but I plow along more steadily now that I think I'm forcing myself into routine. Surprisingly, I'm not dreading it like I seem to worry I will on the way home each night. The to do list keeps growing for this stuff, but at least I'm taking some things off as I go along.
Did take an adventurous plunge and got myself invited on the spay neuter trip one of the doctor's I work with takes every year to Mexico. I've never been to Mexico before, and this part of the country looks and sounds beautiful. Travel is going to be long with a 15 hour layover in Mexico City one way and a 20 hour layover going back. Gonna have to find hostels for those nights I've decided. Which shouldn't be too big a deal. Just need to figure out the specifics of what I need etc. The 15 hour layover, puts me landing around bedtime and then out again before much has happened in the morning. The 20 hour one hopefully will give me some more time to explore.
I figure...I'm never going to have a better chance than now...and my financial situation won't be better likely by next year. So do it now.
