Maybe I should do this all the time...
Dogsitting in the South End again this week, which has prompted me to be extremely productive. Who knew? Limiting my free time has forced me to prioritize. Which is good because overall it just makes me work harder. I'm probably going to crash by the time I get to the weekend but I'm hoping not to.
I'm currently starting work on my help_haiti video. I'm a little intimidated at the moment...mostly because there is SO MUCH good looking source to go with for a SPN video. I need to really pare down what I want this video to concretely look like before I start ripping all the seasons I have. Likely I would just then end up with a harddrive full of pretty footage and too many choices to make which will end poorly.
But it's a song I wouldn't have outright chosen on the first go round so I'm also kind of excited to take on a challenge. Have some ambitious ideas I want to try for the opening bars of drums that I hope will pan out. I'm hoping the winning bidder will like it.
Also, off to NYC this weekend for my sister's birthday, tickets to the theatre (South Pacific at Lincoln Center) dinner, and if I can swing it, catching up with a few of my NYC friends since my weekend isn't completely booked like Christmas was.
