I think you're wrong.
People are dual-natured, yes, but not all are like Janus. In this society, it is almost impossible to be the same way to everyone all the time. Our society just isn't built that way. We are trained to be reverent to the people who are responsible for our birth, regardless of how we were treated by them. We are trained to associate with people of similar interests, of similar age, and develop friendships with them, and thusly treat them in a specific manner. Then there is the relationship specific for those superior to yourself by way of rank or some other bullshit.
To proclaim yourself two-faced because you treat different people from different social groups differently doesn't make you shitty, it means you have social skills. Pat yourself on the back.
You're right about one thing though.
Everyone is two-faced. Especially if they work in retail. Isn't that right, Jessica?
