Maui
So much to write but man no time to do it!
Our Anniversary trip to Maui was completely awesome. We swam with wild dolphins off of the coast of Lanai, that was one of the best things I have ever done. To be with those amazing creatures in their natural habitat was utterly fasinating. They really are friendly animals. We went to Lahaina..saw the Banyan Tree…walked around the overpriced Front St. Lahaina reminded me a lot of New England..it has the exact same feel. We went to the Maui Center and we played put put. We Drove halfway to Hana..I still cant belive a road can have so many amazing waterfalls surrounding it. We did so much in the few days we were there. I took only 100 pictures! I still cant believe I didn’t take more! Maui is overrated though, hopefully Kauai is better!
A good friend of mine is getting a divorce after being married 4 years EEK! She has a good head on her shoulders and she will do fine. I do not believe marriage is forever, even though I would like to believe it I think people change too much. There are those who will change together and those that will change apart…and those that will never change. Everyone wishes for option one but not everyone can have the fairytale. I think her expectations were too high to begin with.
This is my last winter in Hawaii. So crazy to think about!! Im thinking of leaving early and heading home in April. I wish my parents had a bigger house! I could never live with them again but I could with my grandparents but do I really want to live in a finished basement? Haha. Im thinking of checking out where Rachel lives since they accept pets. They aren’t the prettiest but Im sure they are better than what I live in now being in government quarters. Plus I would be close to one of my bestiest friends and her cute lil dog Toby!
