OMG squee! :D

For the first time ever, I actually got the job I wanted. Not my last-resort-if-I-couldn't-get-anything-else, not my second choice, but what I wanted! YAY! *bounces*

On the downside, my shifts will probably start at 8:30, so looks like I need to get out of summer-break sleeping habits and into work/school sleeping habits.

Orientation is May 9&10. Yes, it's a two-day orientation. Squee!

Oh, and as an added bonus, I've told my parents not to drive me if it's sunny out, so I'll stay in shape biking the 3 km to and from work every day. ^-^ Now I just need to schedule some karate practice, ab exercise and running practice time and I'll be good to go.

On the down side, my 3 remaining marks aren't in yet, soo... yeah.

Oh, and I just found out that, apparently, I wasn't doing 25 credit hours last term, I was doing 35. Yeesh. No wonder my grades dropped. ^^" Never, ever doing that many classes in one term again. Ever. I like to have free time and be able to do more than eat, sleep, and breathe school work during the week.

Also, my sister doesn't think she got her job, which has resulted in her falling into her two usual defense mechanisms: Denial ("I don't care. I can just apply somewhere else. I didn't want that stupid job anyway.") and taking it out on me (ie, snipping at me, not cleaning up her mess in the bathroom, and generally making life difficult for me).

The most annoying part about this to me is that they aren't done the call backs yet so she has no reason to think she didn't get the job yet. Also, the orientation there for high school students isn't until June, so there's no reason for them to be calling high school students back yet anyway. *sigh*

I've been wierdly sleepy lately. Getting 9 hours of sleep a night and still in the mood for a nap halfway through the day... probably just my body recovering from exam stress.

Anyway, I'm off for now to bug Dad to see about setting up a network in the house so I can access teh interweb from my computer rather than sneaking in computer time whenever the other 4 people in the house aren't on (because, apparently, one of my sister's friends had a fight with her mom and moved in about a month ago, though I only found out about this the day I moved back here).
