My Family, I Love you guys
Cuda Football Players - Wut up boys. This is your week. I know I thought Seabreeze was, but this is really it. With Mainland beating Edgewater and solitifying themselves back as one of the top teams in the state and possibly the nation, you guys definitely have something to look forward to this Thursday. But I could really careless about what ranking they are, or how highly they think of themselves. And I know you guys dont either. I have faith that you will go out there, strap it up, play as brothers and come out on top. There's no other way for you guys to do it. They are coming into OUR house, our home, and you need to protect it. Play as the family that you are and protect our house and your season. For most of you, this might be the last or one of the last times you ever get to eat with all your friends, go to the locker room, get all padded up, pull on that jersey, snap up your helmet and give it everything you have in you for 4 quaters to play the greatest game on this earth. Cherish every play guys. Cherish every practice, as bad as they suck and how bad you want them to get over with each day because you are dead from the day before..cherish it. The day it's over and you know you can't go back, you will regret not going harder at practice, not giving it that little last boost of energy during conditioning, not getting to the ball after the tackle is made. Trust me, play every single day and every single down like it is the last you will ever have, because it very well might be. I'm not tryin to bring you guys down or tell you what everyone else tells you year in and year out, I'm just tryin to give you some perspective from someone who lost it all and who regrets it more than anything I've ever done. I miss every single one of you guys, but at the same time I'm more excited for you than you could ever know. On Thursday night you will basically be playing the 5-A State Championship, because you are the best team in the state, and they are the team that robbed you last year by 4 fucking points and stole the ring that was rightfully yours. Like I said before, this is it. No matter if you go straight through this season and into the playoffs with the best record anyone thought you could have, if you don't beat Mainland, you will never get the full respect you deserve. So go out there on Thursday, get fuckin crunk, strap it up and get back that game from last year, get your sixth win in a row and get back the respect and honor and glory that NSB Barracuda football is all about.
