Nerd like dillemas

Ok so the crux of the problem is that I need to organise myself a laptop for work.

I really like the idea of moving to a MAC but I need to have the capability of using windows only software (ie some of the companies quotation software is built to run on windows only).

This problem has been rectified by the introduction of Bootcamp and other like software that allows you to run the computer in both OSX and Windows without having to reboot.

This seems like the perfect setup.

The only problem now lies in the price. To get a macbook pro it is going to cost me nearly twice the amount that it will cost me to get a Toshiba/Dell that will run everything I want it to.

So the question that I put forward to you is how can I justify to myself the difference in price. Please comment with your best arguments of why I should be switching to a MACbook PRO over one of the other brands of laptops.

HINT: I am looking towards you boys at Nerd Camp for your input.
