(no subject)
I totally blame 
literarylemming for what I am about to do. A while back, a fiendish little plot bunny was released into the wilds of LJ-land by the aforementioned culprit. Apparently, said bunny then began mating with the plot flounder of doom (which had been nibbling my toes to get me to attempt the idea previously). Now, their quasi-demonic hybrid offspring are bouncing on my toes. Of course, as if that weren't bad enough, I grab some lunch today and flip through the channels and guess what I see on TCM? Why, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers of course. My first thought was "Yippeeeee!" which was followed quickly by "Oh, look at all the little plot bounders (blunders?)" and now I am fully immersed in the planning stages of what I am tentatively calling Cobb Women. Problem: I have 2 separate ideas. One is a Post BDM Rayne fic. The other is an AU Rayne fic. I'm leaning more and more towards the first. *sigh* I think it's going to prove to be a very good thing that this is a slow weekend at work.
