So another five months passed since I last updated, of course. Since January I moved myself and my business to another city way at the tip of the country (you can hear gunfire from the bordering countries, that's how close to the border I am), let my hair grow long, and bought various things to help me with my work. So... lots of changes.
Also, my little brother is now in the army, and my twin sister got married. I on the other hand now have an upholstered chair (make the 14 hours long days easier), a big flat lightbox (it has a bright and cool surface, it's like magic!), a cutting machine (still unused) and a large format professional printer (opened only today). Progress, I say.
I moved in order to save up faster to buy an apartment in Tel Aviv. It's no easy feat in Israel. The plan is to save enough in two years for the deposit and to prove I have a steady income for a mortgage. I know in the US young people can buy homes and pay low rate mortgages, but that's not possible here. Frankly it looks like unless my parents pay the majority of the purchase price, I'll never be able to afford a mortgage. Not unless I become a couple. It's really depressing.
But enough about me, what about you?
