Something I wrote days ago
People! People! (templa_otmena don't read this, go study!) This week was very good to us fanfic readers. Mirrordance concluded her For Every Evil Trilogy! Fiondil closed the book on the first part of Elf Interrupted (Elf, Interrupted: Book One: Glorfindel Redux) and has since posted a new story which I absolutely refuse to be tempted with.
DD is so cute sometimes! He sent me this email (rough translation):
Naomi - the work you did was excellent. After you finish the PhD you can go and buy whatever you want for 1300 ILS, from shoes to jewelry. [When he was here on Monday I told him I wanted to buy a pair of Italian leather shoes I saw for 1,300. So pretty!] Also, you won Bezalel's raffle and are now entitled for a weekend in Kiryat Shmone. 3 meals a day and a ride back to Jerusalem included.
