The banner gave me a hard time. I wanted the edges to be round, so I needed the image background color to match that of the layout, but no matter what I did it didn't match! I think it's something to do with the color profile conflicting between Safari and PS, but I didn't know the correct profile, and guessing only made it worse. Eventually I gave up and now there's a white, square-edged banner on instead. :(
Rented Cars from VOD, but never finished it before the rental ended. That has got to be the worst Pixar movie I've ever seen. The only bad Pixar movie, actually, I don't think I've ever been disappointed with one of their movies before. The world of Cars was just so uninspired! Where did all the imagination go? The only two great moments were when the camera passed the birdies from their 2nd short flick (For The Birds)for like half a second on the road, and when the porsche had a tattoo on its rear-end.
I did also watch Over The Edge, which was just HILARIOUS. I couldn't stop laughing and sighing along!
I wonder if I'll get to see POTC3, Die Hard 4, Transformers, Harry Potter, and so on... I always plan to, and somehow --when it's the biggest movies too, the ones that I'm fannish about!-- I don't get to. It's horrible, there's NO MOVIE THEATERS in the North! Well, there's one in Rosh Pina 2 hours away from Metulah, and it doesn't even screen all the movies... I might not get to watch any great blockbusters this summer...
