Don't Forget To Try In Mind

Well Otakon was a fairly good success...

The ten hour trip from Columbus to Baltimore went well with only some minor techinal issues in trying to get A/V working in our setup in the AP/NBP Assault Van:

On the way up and back it was Nadia... and no, we didn't go through the entire series although we made a big dent going into the late 20s.

Around ten in the evening on Thursday we got into Baltimore and spent the first night sleeping outside of the Convention Center since we forgot about getting rooms until it was way too late... So our group of eight made camp and sweatted to death.

I still want to know about those "Believe" signs... Is it Baltimore's new motto or relating to a show or something?

Anyways on Day Two, we had all of NBP/AP's Panels: History of Gainax, Fan Parodys, Studio Ghibli Panel, Studio 4°C Panel, and Your Favorite Anime Sucks.

Your Favorite Anime Sucks didn't have as large a room/audience as last ACEN had but it ended up getting the majority of our group into various rooms after an Auction/Plea (Plan B was to bribe ourselves into a room with some Good Liquors (including Grey Goose and Wild Turkey))...

I'd personally like to thank theanimefanboy for putting myself and Roman up for the weekend for a small-ish fee...

Saturday my Camera/Phone went Kaput so there are no pics here... But it was good to actually run around and enjoy a Con for once in a while.

Sunday we headed back for a ten hour drive back to Columbus... and we got pulled over for speeding somewhere in Pennsylvania... We were going 88 mph... =P

From there I hitched a ride with Neil and got into a weird conversation about J-Rock, International Politics, Politics, and Religion...

Bah...
