VAMPIRES.

I'd rather be one than a werewolf.

Vampires can still blend with humans, and only a little part of themeselves change once they "transform".
The only thing that vampires are not so good about, is control over their thirst for blood. ^^

oh, and I always end up buying a book, once i know that it has something to do with vamps.
