Which TV shows did you start watching in 2015?
Scandal, Empire, Poldark, Blindspot, Blacklist, Heroes Reborn, Sense8, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Power, Quantico
Which TV shows did you let go of in 2015?
Empire, Blacklist, Castle (sort of), TVD, Power
Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2015? Why?
Orphan Black S3! It's just sitting on my harddrive. Ditto OITNB and The Good Wife.
Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2016?
PERSON OF INTEREST S5 is my most anticipated. Agent Carter S2, Daredevil S2
Which TV show impressed you least in 2015?
Supergirl. The pilot was boring as. Empire has also totally lost me. Too OTT, too many guest stars I care nothing for.
Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2016 unless things significantly improve?
Heroes Reborn, but that isn't getting renewed anyway.
Which TV shows do you think you’ll never let go of no matter how crappy they get?
Grey's Anatomy. (Although I would say it will probably never be "crappy".) Castle, although we no longer watch week-to-week and just binge a bunch at a time. The change in EPs really shows, and the case-of-the-week format kind of dated.
Your main fandom of the year?
HTGAWM, obviously. Plus The Hobbit in the spring.
Your favourite film you watched this year?
Am I still allowed to put Captain America: The Winter Soldier? LOL
NEVER MIND. STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS HANDS DOOOOWN OMMMGGGGG
Your favourite book read this year?
I didn't read many new books besides children's ones for my kids. Haha. I mostly re-read old faves like The Hobbit and Howl's Moving Castle. And I'm still only halfway through Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. TV and fic have become my main entertainment.
Your favourite album or song to listen to this year?
Most played on my iTunes is still "I Know Places" from 1989. But Karmina, Halsey, Adele's "Hello" and Ellie Goulding's "Love me like you do" got top spots too.
Your favourite TV show of the year?
HTGAWM, although I have so many favorite TV shows now. LOL
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
This spy AU Coliver fic is freaking amazing.
Also this Halsey mashup.
And this breakdown of the Blindspot episode titles as anagrams.
But really, this takes the cake: Putin slash is an actual thing
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
I don't get why Sansukh is so popular in the Hobbit fandom. There are raves and fan-translations and...IDGI. I tried to stick with it but got bored and gave up. I also dislike most Coliver fic out there because it's so... OLIVER IS THE DISTAFF UPON WHICH CONNOR'S WORLD REVOLVES, HIS SHINING ANGEL, HIS LIGHT. Like, the show is not like this, can fandom get its act together already? UGH.
Also, I didn't like the Natasha/Bruce development in AoU, but it wasn't like, utter betrayal for me. AoU in general was a bit of a letdown too.
Favourite male character of the year?
Well, it was Kili earlier in the year, but now it's probably Connor Walsh. Or Anakin Skywalker. LOL MY PROBLEMATIC FAVES.
Favourite female character of the year?
Tauriel? Catherine de Medici. Alex Parrish?
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
In spring I was all over Catcisse getting together. And I am still loving how it's playing out. He would do anything for love. But really, he won't do that. XDDDD
Also this Michaela x Connor x Oliver moment. It makes me cackle with glee every time I watch it. SWEET REVENGE. LOOK AT CONNOR'S FACE. LMAOOO
AND I HAVE TO MENTION THE FITZSIMMONS KISS HELL YEAH

The most missed of your old fandoms?
Um, FF7? I don't know that we ever really leave fandoms, just that they hold our interest in lesser degrees? Like I still follow TVD through my tumblr dash although I no longer watch it.
The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
Star Wars. Down that rabbit hole we will soon go.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS
In my first draft of this meme I was only feeling that growing excitement. You know, binge watching the movies and getting the kids excited for the new one. Now that I've seen it I am a goner. I am writing again (prequel AU). And I plan to see it again in 3D next week!
Also FFVII remake, although that will probably be coming out in 5 years, LBR. There's not even an estimated release date on it.
Plus here's me quantifying my fandom contributions for the year:
Fic: 38055 words. Meta (not counting reaction posts): 9717 words, GIFsets: 17, Fanmixes: 2
So I learned to makes GIFs for Trope Bingo and it's easier than writing fic. But it's more like analysis than creation of something new, for me anyway.
