Life fucking sucks
Well I was just reading a past journal from like 6 months ago, and everything was just peachy at work. I was moving up to having more control.
Not everything is peachy anymore. A week ago Friday my boss came into the office and sat down to tell me I'm going to need to find another job, as we are way too slow and they can't afford to keep me on. So after 9+ years, I had to update my resume and start sending it out to a bunch of companies. I just didn't think it would be me, since they freak out if I'm gone on vacation and not there to handle everything. But I guess nobody is exempt.
That day he came in he told me to take the time I needed, but when I got back into work last Monday, I was told I had 2 weeks, maybe a little more if needed. This is the second week and I have no answers back from anyone. I'm freaking the fuck out!
We just got back from Disneyland last night, so now it's back to searching for another job. Going on that trip was good and bad. Bad because of the timing, and the money it costs to do that, but we have had this planned with Lisa's parents for almost a year so I couldn't back out. It was good because it gave me a day or so to not think about the whole losing my job thing. It was also cool to see George...TWICE! hahaha
So anyways, that's my 6 month update. Wish me luck...
