This is the only thing I'm going to say; and fell free to repost or repute it. Our forefathers and mothers fought and founded this country on an ideal of equality. This main idea runs so deep and obvious that the first amendment in our constitution and state constitutions (since the bill of rights are repeated in all state constitutions) is about freedom of speech (and ultimately expression). This simple 45 word paragraph entitles all citizens the right to speak their minds (so long as it does noticeably defames anyone), the right to print their minds (given it doesn't noticeably defames anyone), and the right to protest peacefully. And the last two rights are the protection to exercise the religion you feel fit with, and protection of that the government will not create laws respecting a religion. As many of you see were I'm going with this; that final rights is the one I'd like to talk about as its a recent focus, given the political decisions in CA, AZ, and FL.
Now, doesn't CA 8 , AZ 102, and FL 2 violate the federal and state constitutions based on the idea that they supports a religious and dogmatic view of the world and of human sexuality? Also, doesn't it seem only fair to allow other Americans to utilize their first amendment, their right to expression in all its way? I'm not saying that you havta except 'their way of life' (even though you'll see they are just regular people once you deal and talk with your co-workers, neighbors, friends and everyday citizens). I mean hell,
Mormons still believe that black people are cursed by god and are not to be trusted,
Scientology are bent on destroying psychology and
infiltrating government buildings. I hate saying this, but when shit like this exists in the world do you really think you're being force to except homosexuality? And finally, doesn't it also make sense that if the government promises to not promote a religion, that you'd follow the same suit? I know this last question isn't a strong one but there is a reason to it being last.
