(no subject)
So I had heard it was announced, but I didn't realize just how far into development it was until a trailer popped up on Xbox Live Marketplace today. They seem to have skipped the "cryptic teaser" and "completely unrelated CGI video" levels of advertising and jumped straight to the point where somewhat useful videos of ACTUAL GAMEPLAY show up.
Woo, tangent. Back on Task.
There is to be a new Bionic Commando game on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The fact that it's been nearly 20 years since the original came out doesn't make me feel the least bit old.
Also, the new character design wasn't quite what I was expecting. Something of a cross between the Lineage Human from the FPS Shadowrun game and Hellboy where my first impressions. Then again I didn't really expect the neon green jumpsuit, spiky brown hair and sunglasses to make a return any more than I expected to see Ryu Hayabusa in light blue pajamas in the new Ninja Gaiden games.
So far looks like something I'd snag when it hit's $20.
