This looks very very good, but I'll need to come back and finish reading this later. I just wanted to point out something that it seems Christa didn't say.

Saiyuki Gaiden is a prequel to Saiyuki (ya'll may have remembered that from our last Goku). Most of the characters here are reincarnations of the guys in Saiyuki so

Kenren=Gojyo=Smoke
Konzen=Sanzo=Moon

Tenpou=hakkai
Goku=Goku

So basically Goujun's closest canonmate and friend is Smoke version 1.0. Anyways I'll get back to this app later.

OK IM BACK.

Finished reading and I think this is a very interesting app. I like that she's pulling on myth to fill in the blanks on a secondary character and I'm impressed that she's not going with the fandom assumption that Goujun = Jeepu (which has been Jossed anyways). This probably means nothing to anyone /sob

Anyways the canon matches what I remember, the extras are solid and honestly if Christa wants him to turn into a GIANT dragon I'm fine with it. hahaha good luck fitting in the sphere dood.Yes

I didn't follow this. So... who is Goujun? You didn't actually list his reincarnation.

oh I apologize. There's two camps about it. It's fan speculation that Goujun became Hakuryuu, Hakkai's pet dragon/jeep (the dragon turns into a jeep ok? Just...go with it). Hakuryuu is shown to be intelligent but so far has not shown sentience. It's basically like he got reincarnated as a monkey instead of a human. To my knowledge this hasn't yet been proven and since Christa doesn't mention it I don't think she's using this explanation. Either way Smoke doesn't know Hakuryuu is anything other than a normal dragon (he's not entirely aware of his past incarnation either. He knows he has a connection to this guy named Kenren but he doesn't know how/why). So if they ping (and this is a good point this is a potential area where Jen could info mod) it'll be a very weak ping because its like recognizing your boss in your former life. They shouldn't REALLLY know each other--vague feelings yes. Full on YOU ARE FROM MY PAST? No

I think Christa's a *terrible* judge of character in terms of choosing RP partners, but the app is good and makes sense in its own context, though IDK canon at all.
