Now that our new arrivals are settling in, perhaps some food for thought is in order.
You have been dropped into the middle of a war. A war not of your own choosing, a war between the gray man and the exile. A war that has been going on for far longer than is apparent.
Are you content being moved about for someone else's purposes? Are you satisfied having your memories wiped, and having them fed back to you piecemeal, always with a price attached?
Who have you left behind? What have you left undone? The goals to which you devoted your lives--can you truly achieve them here?
Are you content to live with the knowledge that any day you wake up, those you have come to care for here may have forgotten you?
Look at the children. Do they look any different from the day they arrived?
This isn't your home. You don't belong here.
Knowledge is dangerous, yes. But are you willing to take the risk in order to fight against what's been done to us all?
