Thanksgiving Break

So, in the tune of updating more often here it goes.
Went home for Thanksgiving late Tuesday of last week, hit some bad weather on the road, but all-in-all not a bad trip. Surprisingly had good conversation with my brother's friend who brought me home. He and I never really talked so this was a good surprise. We talked about a lot of stuff. TV shows, music, movies, people. It was good.
Wednesday, I slept really late because my anti-depressants kind of make me an insomniac and I hadn't gotten my prescription for Ambien filled yet. Mom and I went out to eat and hung out. Went back home and started cleaning so that my brother can move back home.
Thursday, turkey day, woke up and started cooking because my mom had to work at the store and my brother's girlfriend and I started cooking. We made pumpkin pie, the turkey and my favorite: chocolate mousse pie. YUM!! My brother (i have quiet a few brothers) came over and he and I went to my other brother's apartment where our Thanksgiving dinner is traditionally held. And once there, what did I do? More cooking, along with dishes because my brother so nicely asked me if I would do them for him. Dinner was alright, I managed not to give anyone food poisoning... that I know of at least. We hung out, watched Madagascar.
Friday, Mom and I went to her sister's house. Wasn't a bad trip, adequate driving weather. We hung with her for a while, went shopping and then went to see Pride and Prejudice with Kierra Knightly. Wasn't too bad. Took pieces from the book and mushed them together, but for a two to two and a half hour movie that would be kind of necessary. All in all, not a bad movie.
Saturday saw us traveling home because mom had to work. Hung out with my brother and his girlfriend and his friend, the same friend who brought me home. It was fun we went to Outback Steakhouse and then we went to my brother's place and watched Hitchiker's because my brother's friend had not yet seen it. Then went home.
Today, church, went out to eat with my mom and then started the trip back to school. Which wasn't too bad except we hit some bad traffic. And now that I'm back I can't wait to go home for christmas break.
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and got back alright.
much love
