( Slowly, painstakingly, over numerous pages in the journal, the following is drawn. Detailed sketches appear over the course of a few hours, with the occasional annotations and notes in a strange language. The sketches pause for a length of time, before continuing. The corners of the pages that they encompass are smeared with blood, though care has been taken not to sully the sketches. )
