Saves The Weezer
again i use that term. I went to see Saves The Day tonight at the free Newbury Comics show in Alewife. I got in which was sweet, but the way it was set up was awful, no one except the front row could see the band. It was also extra sweet because it was all acoustic, but i was fooled by this with hopes that they would play the entire acoustic cd. I got one song, and the rest were i think all from the last 2 cd's... maybe one other was from T.B.C./C.S.D.? They played under ten songs.
My thoughts about their new "sound" is that they are tremendously trying to sound like Weezer's new stuff, which i loath. I know bands change their sound but many other bands are following in suit, like Dashboard... (im not looking for any battles, it's all well and good if you think the new Dashboard has opened new doors in the music industry)

I’m still having an amazing time at school, the kids here are great. My friend Beth invited me to her place not this weekend but the next, as well as a few others. I guess her friends are all "just like me", so im looking forward to that. And her Dad apparently hated body piercings and enjoys to make fun of them, a lot. It should be funny. I might try surfing, aka i will be pumped for it and then not dare go into the frigid water, wet suit or not.
Shawn’s B-day is tom. Hoping for a good time!
Im going to see New Year, and others tom. night in Boston at some show that starts at 10 P.M.
