My 23rd Year Of Existance
As Midnight approaches, the beginning of my 22nd year of my life draws closer and closer to its end. And a new year of my existance begins. As I think back to how being 21 was, I can only describe the last 365 days as a roller coaster.
Muta Coaster
(Climb) Turning 21 itself was great. The party was great!
(Descend) Sat the school semester out, due to financial woes.
(Climb) Life returns to normal.
(Descend) Accusations of my girlfriend (at the time) cheating arise.
(Descend) Lost my job day after Thanksgiving
(Climb) Gift basket job starts for X-Mas Season
(Climb) Enrolled for Winter Semester
(Climb) Went to Toronto to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame
(Descend) Almost didn't make A-Team for LQ
(Descend) Break up with Renee
(Climb) Attended Wrestlemania 23
(Descend) Lost role as C-Town's Captain
(Climb) Found out someone else had the hots for me
(Descend) Grandmother passes away.
(Descend) Nearly didn't pass my finals.
(Plateau) Passed with at least C in my classes, only 1 C out for 4.
(Climb) Went to Arlington Heights for Regionals
(Climb) Party at my house
(Descend) Party was a complete ruckus. House was nearly destroyed.
(Climb) Began working at a bingo hall.
(Climb) Began dating Rebecca
(Descend) Financial Aid denied, NAC Finals was a no-go for me.
(Descend) School started, again.
(Climb) Saw Alice Cooper in concert.
(Descend) Rebecca breaks up with me......via MySpace!
(Descend) Found out Rebecca cheated on me 1 week before the message.
(Climb) Tells Rebecca to her face how I felt.
(Climb) The birth of a new Muta that night????
Looking back on how my life was in the last 365 days, I had my share of ups and downs. But now, with the beginning of a new year as a person, I see nothing but great things. Not for just myself, but for everyone I associate myself with. I believe that the next 365 days are going to be big for all of us. Yeah, it might sound philosophical, but hey, I can do whatever I want.
As for the new me, it seemed that people enjoyed it on Thursday. The only favor I ask you all is to keep it going. You are the fuel to that fire. The more fuel you add, the bigger the flame.
