:::OKAY! I'm aware this is UBER LATE... like 2ish months and I'm very very sorry!! Hiatus kicked my butt. I'm back now and I want to get this done because someone... deserves the third firebolt

Zak wandered out of the great hall, happily full with a most delicious breakfast. Hogwarts food never got old. What he was going to do when he left at the end of the year was beyond him. Trip out for days on end and pretend to have eaten seemed like the best option, that was what had happened over most of the summer months. The results of course was that he had lost all the weight he'd regained after his return from Azkaban.
He spotted a new notice up on the wall and stalled over to it, raising an eyebrow when he recognised the broom as being an older model Firebolt. Zak couldn't help but scoff when he read the final line. "F'real?" He asked, turning to face the girl beside him. "There's no fucking way you're going to be fair about this. You'd be better off just shoving it up in the Slytherin common room. They're the only ones who stand getting a good deal out of this."
(F'real.. he's really skinny again?... okay... that's so going to be noticed..)
Belladonna gave Zak a cool look, a little sneer. "It's not my fault if we aren't poor like some people." her tone icy, it was clear whom she was referring to. She turned back to her poster to admire it. She had had to do some damage control as it someone had thought to add some colour, but that's alright, she had fixed it back up.
"Really Zak, maybe if you hadn't spent all your money on your new broom you could have eaten this summer. At least then a strong wind couldn't blow you away." she smirked. She assumed he was so frightfully skinny because he had forgone eating for the Firebolt he now owned, she knew at the end of last year he had at least had some muscle to his mass, now he was just skin and bones.. extra note to the bones part.
((Mhmm. He's probably regained a bit since September, but he'd still be on the skinny side.))
Zak snorted, "It's not even going to be about being poor!" If she thought he was going to believe that she was very well mistaken. The Slytherin was obviously going to be judging on blood, status would come second. Fuck's sake, she'd probably be offering those with the most money the lowest prices. There was nothing that could be possibly fair about this process. "You're just going to be a bint about it, there's not a chance you're gonna give other quidditch players that aren't Snakes the oppertunity to have a Firebolt. It'd be too much of a risk, your toddler team is too desperate for you to be able to afford something like that."
He raised an eyebrow at her comment and glanced down at himself. "But..but..if I'd eaten I wouldn't have been able to go on a magical adventure into Rainbowland to rescue the evil Dr. Nick from the clutches of the even more evil Baron VonRabenhand who wanted to perform an illegal autopsy on Dr. Nick who holds the

Her eyes narrowed and she lifted her chin. "My team is better than yours Reso" She looked him over. "in every way." They both knew she just threw blood status into it, and anything else.
"You want a chance?" she smirked, stepping forward, her voice quiet. "I suppose I could have pity on the poor mudblood" the last word a hissing whisper, after all best not to be overheard. But she wondered what he could possibly entice her with to wager her Firebolt.
"Since you're all so strapped for knuts, what would you suggest Reso?" She gave a soft laugh. "I should give up my Firebolt to paupers for charity? what's in it for me?"
She had ignored the rest of his tirade regarding not eating, she hadn't understood a bit of it, she strongly suspected it was something mugglish, and she didn't care about those things.
"You would say that," Zak sneered, not at all bothered at the prospect of taking Bella on in a battle of words. He'd moved on from being hurt by petty insults and meaningless words. In mind, the old Zak had returned. Unfortunately, he hadn't managed to regain control of his body just yet. That part of him remained with 'new Zak'. "I look forward to proving you wrong at the start of the season, you and your playschoolers don't stand a bleedin' chance. I swear, not one of them is taller than my waist."
"I suppose I could have pity on the poor mudblood"
Zak's expression hardened slightly. "I don't want your pity," He spat as he glared at the girl. His eyes were sharp, filling with the disdain he had for the girl. Oh, Slytherins...they were all such bitches. Every last one of them. How the males managed to survive the seven years was beyond Zak, the girls were bitchy enough to begin with. He didn't want to even imagine what they must be like when Tom was around

Bella sighed. "Really Zak, do something nice??" she shook her head. "What possible motivation do I have for that?" she rolled her eyes.
Suggesting she do something nice is like suggesting a elephant will jump. it just wasn't done.
Although, at the prospect of a bet she considered him for a longer moment. "a bet? and what Zak Reso do you have that I want? If you can come up with something I actually want I'll wager the Firebolt." She smirked, there wasn't much he could come up with. Except maybe quit school, or the Gryffindor Captaincy... the second one had more taste to it.
If it was possible for her smile to get poisonious...
"To be unpredictable, exciting, maybe shake things up a bit?" Zak offered, knowing full well it was absolutely no use. The girl was a pristinely inbred bitch, there was nothing that could be done to change that.
"A bet," He confirmed, folding his arms across his chest as he allowed a small smirk to play on his lips. A bet for the unwanted Firebolt. What could he offer to make it interesting? Zak cocked his head to the side as he thought about it. Her own thoughts of him quitting the school or captaincy were ludicrous. This Gryffindor wasn't about to ruin his own last year of school for a Firebolt. "Do your homework for a month?" Christ, how bad an offer would that be? She'd find herself failing EVERYTHING. "I'll...shave my head if we lose against you guys next week." Zak ran his fingers through his flowing locks. How could she say no?
