Personality:
Reginald lets people see what they want to see. He does not let people get to know the real him because that isn't beneficial to his cause (gaining power). So he tries to be amiable with everyone that he meets even if he secretely hates them. The only exception to this rule would be when he believes that the person has nothing that could be of value to him; if he hates you he will let you know it and if he doesn't he simply won't interact with you (why waste the energy).
Strengths: Both magical and personality:
Magical: Having visions has led Reginald to be persistent in his studying of all facets of divination and deciphering. Along with that he is rather good at Potions since he can see how things come together. Reginalds visions usually occur when in contact with the person or room that he has the vision about; even then things tend to be unclear and happen in such a way that is more of a puzzle than a vision of the future.
Personality: His observant nature. He sees what a person wants and projects that. If the person wants a confidante he is that, if they want a pupil he becomes one, if they need a teacher he guides them. Through this method he has made powerful connections that only strengthen his ability to follow through on these promises.

Magical:Reginald was not originally a squib but as he's aged his already mediocre wand abilities have waned with disuse.
Personality: There is no one that he allows to get close to him. He has shutdown his soul and lives only for the purpose of gaining more power and connections. He doesn't like people getting to know him and tries to keep his relationships all on a business level. He never wants to look like he prefers one side of another, since he doesn't. He's stubborn, defiant, shut-in, etc. He has grumpy old man syndrome caused by a broken heart and his detiorated physical condition
Fears:
Being powerless and helpless. Nothing is worse to him then asking for help.
History:
Reginald was born into a pureblood family (the Chandlers), the only child of Regalia and Frances. They had attempted many previous times but all were lost; 3 miscarriages and 1 stillborn. So technically, Reginald is the youngest of 5. Being the only child has only accentuated his snobbery that comes from the Chandler Family line. He's very used to getting what he wants. When he was growing up he loved being the center of attention.
While in his late teens he fell in love with Julia. But when Reginald declared his love for her she turned him down and began to date Harding. Reginald hasn’t loved anyone since he had his heart broken by her. He loved her dearly but she was “stolen away” by the older man in his eyes, blind to the fact that she never saw him as more than a friend. When he lost Julia to Harding he was left bitter and became cold and distant with people. Since then he has remained bitter and cold to most people and will not let people into his life willingly. He's a shut out now, and takes on a better than thou attitude.
When Reginald was in his 30’s he received a vision while on a flight of stairs; losing his bearing he fell and pinched a nerve in his spinal cord, causing his right leg to be excruciatingly hard to move. Since this incident he also has had decreased amount of visions and they tend to not be as clear as they used to be. He drinks many potions to help his pain but the Doctors and St. Mungos haven't yet figured out a way to fix it.

He has an average, slightly overweight body. He is 5'10" but due to leaning on his cane he appears shorter. He also looks older than he should be for being 53. He’s in healthy shape but not fit in any way or form. He walks with a pronounced limp in his right leg and needs his cane to walk an extensive distance.

Reginald has true visions. He is a seer, that is his strongest magical asset. His visions tend to be vague though, appearing as blurry daydreams, although if he is in current contact with that person and knows them well enough they get clearer and clearer.

Watching over the class tended to usually be boring, most of these students were worthless, not even worth teaching, even in the NEWT levels they consistently dissapointed him. But it was still worth it to be here...for the few diamonds in the rough. Students he could mold and shape and place where he best saw fit. Now that was why dealing with the rest of these miscreants was worth it. Reginald shifted his weight on his good foot and then tapped his cane to get the attention of the class. "Times up. Please turn in your midterms as you exit."
