Gryffindor came as a bit of a surprise for Chase's house. (For some reason I was getting Claw.) Expand some on why he's in that house, maybe offer some examples his Gryffindor tendencies and you'll be good to go.
Edit A question was raised about his family's wealth/class. If his father owns his own business (by way of the funeral home) than that would seem to put them in solidly middle. Funeral homes would not seem to be the cheapest businesses to run either. If you would, please expand on this a bit.
I can definitely see where you would get Claw in him, but while he may have actions that place him in Ravenclaw, his drives and desires would place him in Gryffindor. He's someone who's first instinct is to jump head first into something, whether it's a cause or his career, and it's only because of his parents that he stops and creates a 'back up' plan. It's become ingrained in him, so to speak, but it would occur after the fact. He doesn't have a thirst for knowledge like I would associated with a Ravenclaw, except for military history. Besides that the only reason he would work harder in his classes is not for the learning, in fact he could care less about it. But he knows that at some point you have to work hard to get what you want, even if he doesn't like doing that. He's courageous and isn't afraid to be the only one in the room that has the 'different' opinion. I could go on and try to pick apart the pieces that make him a Gryffindor...but honestly? I didn't create him with a house in mind, so I'm very flexible about what house

Though you're by no means required to do so, if you're interested you can add parents/NPCs to several lists including: the Character Age Listing (PCs are added automatically), Active/NPC Job Listing, Quidditch Rosters for past years or Pro Teams, and of course, you can sign relatives up to be Death Eaters or Order Members.
