((*cough* Hook))
Jeremy whistled to himself as he made his way from the common room. Normally, he wouldn't have been up so early but, this morning, his stomach had demanded substance.
This first week back at Hogwarts had been brilliant. He'd been spending time with Nic and this dating thing he was trying with Dari didn't have any downfalls... so things, in his world were great.
As he walked, quite lost in his happy mood, he noticed a figure on the stairs. He silently chuckled to himself at first, wondering who'd gotten drunk and passed out. It didn't dawn on him that he hadn't heard of a party until he continued to move closer and realized that is was a girl. Though he knew a few, most girls didn't end up passed out on a set of stairs.
Moving closer still, his heart leaped as he realized that it was Dari... his Dari. He rushed to her side, calling her name. "Dari. Dari. Dari. Wake up. Dari. Wake up." He shifted over her in a panic, afraid to touch her. She was breathing, he could see that... and no, Dari had not passed out on the stairs. He didn't have a clue what was wrong with her... if it was safe to move her... if it was safe to touch her. The nurse... he needed the nurse or... she did. Not sure what else to do, he yelled for help, finally getting the courage to touch her cheek. "Dari. Love. Wake up. You've gotta wake up for me."
After a few moments of touching her cheek, patting her hand and yelling for help that wasn't coming, he gave up. Moving closer, he gingerly put his arm under her, shifting her weight into his arms, trying to watch her head. If she'd fallen, he needed to watch her head. His heart pounding from his chest, he lifted her into his arms wincing when her head fell lifelessly. He wondered if he was making the right decision about moving her but it was too late for that now... and carrying her to the nurse was quicker than going to get the nurse... not that he could have left her alone. "Come on, pet," he encouraged as he made his way up the stairs and down the hall, "Open your eyes for me. You've got to wake up."

"Love," he answered her, worry still clear in his voice. He cursed himself for allowing his eyes to tear up at the sound of her voice. "You'll be okay," he assured her, trying his best to walk faster. "I've got you. You'll be alright."
He turned a corner seeing the doors to the Hospital Wing so close and he could have cried out. "Almost there," he kept talking, not sure if she was still awake... if she could hear him. "We're almost there... I've got you... every thing is alright."
He began hollering for the nurse the instant he disappeared into the doors of the Hospital Wing.

Of course she'd be alright, she thought. Why wouldn't she be? She just had a horrible headache. Her memory on why he was carrying her at all was a bit fuzzy. She'd been arguing with Jay near the stairs and... Oh,/i>.
Thinking about what must have happened only made her head hurt worse, so she tried to just focus on his voice, mumbling something incoherent, trying to open her eyes again, but there was light and her head ached so much.
"My head feels big," she mumbled, turning her face into his chest, burying it against his shirt. "And really painful."

Jeremy entered the wing, bellowing for the nurse as he gently laid Dari on the nearest bed.
"It's not big," he assured her, caressing the backs of his fingers over her cheek, "It's perfectly Dari sized."
He looked over his shoulder for the nurse, cursing silently when he didn't see her. Where the bloody hell was that woman? He needed her now and she was no where to be found... yet she seemed to always be around when he was trying to snog in the hospital wing. "Madame Russiani," he called calmly over his shoulder. Bloody hell, if she didn't get here soon he would go back there and hex the hell out of her.
He pressed his lips to her forehead, "The nurse will be here soon," he kept his voice smooth and soothing as he continued to caress her cheek. She'll be here soon or she'll have me to deal with. He wanted to ask her what had happened, there were so many things he needed to know but his first priority was to make her better... then he'd find out what he needed to know.

Dari leaned into his hand. It was comforting, having him there, hearing the soothing tone in his voice. She sighed softly as his lips brushed her forehead.
"Are you sure?" she asked softly. "It feels awfully big. And it hurts rather a lot." She whimpered softly as if to emphasize her point.
She nodded slowly at his assurances. "'Kay.. 'm just gonna go'sleep," she mumbled sleepily.

Jeremy held her hand in his, brushing his lips over her fingers. "It's head sized," he promised her one last time, moving to pressed his lips to her forehead again. It killed him to know that she was hurting and he couldn't do anything about it. "The nurse will be here soon," he soothed, "and she'll make it stop hurting."
"You rest," he agreed, fully intending to go find the nurse that wouldn't come.

"Jer?" she whispered, her voice barely audible. She was just concious of the fact that he was carrying her and that his voice sounded worried.
